Fleshofmankind1: Be patient. IOM will send your medical within the stipulated time, hopefully. IRCC will also update your medicals result in due time, with no action required on your part at all. Then wait for the good news. 1 Like |

Nkechi48: Yes. USA and Canada share info. But as regards to your question, it depends on how you explain it in your SOP. When I applied, my sis is a PR, my mum went to Canada for traditional custom of postpartum care( Omugwo). So I dedicated a subheading to explain it in details and pleaded to vo not use that to judge me as my mum is there on a temporary basis, while my sis went as result of marriage (citing as custom demands she can't stay without her hubby). But then it all depends on your own situation. You're better off to explain your own unique situations to the VO. But make sure you talk about it. I tried to use that to tackle " Home ties in Canada and in home country as seen in some rejections letters" Just my own way. Gurus will tell you better. |

Fleshofmankind1: You don't need to do anything else. Just relax and cross your legs and wait for your ppr. Also while relaxing intensify your prayers and stay positive. IOM will send your medical results to IRCC, it may take them a while to review it but they will eventually and then update it to pass... And then boom PPR 1 Like |

Mikkieshow: Yes as a fully vaccinated, you still need to show proof that you have planned for quarantine in the event the border officer says you should. Hope you have verified that your Vaccination is promptly registered and all information correct! As for your question, you don't need a particular hotel to quarantine, they have lifted that restrictions, Airbnb will do, you can check their booking policy |

Hello Nkechi CANADA, USA, UK, GERMANY, AUSTRALIA.. You see these countries, they communicate very very well... You see that Infor sharing in the GCMS notes, this is what it is all about.. There share info amongst themselves.. So you as a Canadian study Visa applicant, if you get refused in any of these countries, and you deny it when applying for Canadian Visa, be rest assured Canada will deficiency know... That is why we have seen applicants get 5 year ban for denying the fact that they have been denied Visa in any other country... So when feeling your IRCC form, if you know you have been denied Visa before in any other country, just state it there rather than hiding it.. Peace Nkechi48: |

When applying for the visa online, it is one of the questions asked "is co- op an essential part of your study? Click on yes since you say your program has the option. Because you clicked on yes, when uploading documents, theres a section where you'd have to upload your evidence of co-op option. you have to upload the supporting document. For some people, it is their letter of acceptance. Hope this helps. emmalextemtop: 1 Like |

emmalextemtop: You can apply for a student permit and they’ll process a co-op work permit with your study permit application. Just make sure that Your acceptance letter from your school confirms that a co-op or internship placement is part of your program’s curriculum Source: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/intern.html 1 Like |

Good day gurus, please I need your candid advise. An agent applied for a US Visit visa for me in 2017, but I got refused on the ground of ties to home country. In that application, there were two things he added that weren't true about me; my Marital status (I was single but he stated that I was married) I am married now though. he also stated that I was working in a firm which wasn't true. I am about to apply for a study visa in canada now. Do I have to State this misrepresentation in my SOP or just tell them that I have been refused visa before? |

nairaandaed: Co- Algonquin, you welcome here buddy! Same course too. Please to meet you. Well to add little to your question, you might use your job as your career progression sha, showing a relatable job with PM, so the VO can see you are going for study not from your past academic achievement but from your recent employment and definitely must be in line with PM. Peace. |

Good Morning all, I have been reading this thread for some hours now and i appreciate all the contributions, although i now have plenty questions in my head. I need some advice and guidance on how to proceed with my application and i would appreciate if some gurus in the house can assist me through this process. So yesterday i got me LOA from University of New Brunswick for an MBA. My other application which is still under review is for a GDBA from Memorial University. Now, if i get second admission, can i state both in my Visa application bearing in mind that the MBA is for 2 years while GDBA is for 1, and their costs differ? What level of funds do i require to show as POF. The total cost for the MBA is CAD31,239 while the GDBA is CAD6,832? For family ties, can this be limited to my immediate nuclear family and maybe parents only? I have a landed property, can my Mum do a gift deed for her landed property for me as well or mine alone will be okay? For the MBA application, it was required i send my transcript for my first master at Unilag, will i have to state this in my SOP or not?. The GDBA only require Bsc transcript and no mention of my Unilag masters. Lastly, my EE profile expired in September and my ielts this week, i plan to re-activate the profile next month after writing another exam, does an EE profile have a positive or negative impact on this process? Thanks everyone for your anticipated feedback. |
