Leave visa application forms for now until you're given an appointment.
Check under "National visa" on their website, you'll see the link for the visa application forms, which you can print and fill while going for interview.
You can now book at any time and i hope you know the waiting period for category B applicants is one year plus.
Nobody really understands the German consulate anymore regarding appointments.
I advise you don't cancel your previous booking because someone close to me called the consulate recently to know if he can book a fresh appointment as his start date has passed and they told him to be hopeful, that passed start dates don't really matter.
If you're school is going online, please, join them in whatever they do because your successful visa application after spending at least a semester in your home country depends on proofs you really attended online.
All the best.

Thank you so much

Hello Great Intellectuals and potential Germans'! Thanks for your palpable contributions.

Pls interfere into my matter>>>>I'm currently outside the shore of Nigeria but I'm with only my O'level result and my National Diploma(ND) final year statement of result but not certificate(not attested and legalized also), I didnt collect my certificate from my polytechnic. I've saved for my blocked account but I run UBA account back home(I remember u people were recommending only Sterling/First bank)

*Now, please is there a way I can gain BSc admission with only those documents above (without coming to Nigeria)? What other accompanying document do u suggest and how can I get them from here.

Can I use UBA account for 'form-A' in blocking my Fintiba Account, or which best way can u suggest for blocking my account pls(without coming to Nigeria)?

**Pls I said without coming to Nigeria because I'm not ready to come for some reasons. Or does that mean I must need to come to Nigeria to get things right, can't I plan and achieve German vision from here?

If u were me, what step(s) would you take? pls ur suggestions will definitely go a long way. Thanking you all in anticipation!

. What did you see on their website?...for you to apply there, you need a resident permit that is up to 6months.
Please people should follow the right procedure in other not to block access for nigerians.. You can't access visa in another country without having their resident permit unless you carry an (A) list county's passport

Booked appointment-1st April 2021 by 12:01am

Appointment invitation e-mail-8th July 2021

Appointment date-6th August 2021

Approval e-mail-5th October 2021

Visum-15th October 2021

My own visa processing lingered because i did the summer semester online in Nigeria,so the consulate requested for proofs in the form of-
(i.)an up to date enrollment certificate/letter from my school, showing that my enrollment is still active.
(ii.)transcription of records ie to show what i've actively done in my course of study from the day of enrollment/the day lectures started. That is,lecture notes, tests, experiments, assignments,if possible exams.

I forwarded all these to them as pdf on the 14th of August after they requested them on the 9th of August, setting 30th of August as the deadline for submission.

On 3rd September i received an e-mail from them saying that they've not received any document(i guess the mistake was from me because i didn't follow the replying sequence of the e-mails sent by the consulate, which have my visa code/number already.I sent the e-mail as a fresh one without the code. So,it was hard for them to know it was me) and i was given 7th of September as the last deadline to do so.

That same 3rd September,i forwarded the soft copies to them through the e-mails that have my visa code/number and hard copies at the consulate on the 6th of September.

And it dawned on me that it was that 6th of September that the processing of my visa application really started after having my interview over a month and hoping for an approval e-mail.

My advice-please,if your school is going online and you couldn't secure a visa that semester, join them and keep your evidences, because your successful visa application depends on the proofs that you really participated. The German consulate isn't joking about this.Infact if you did a semester online in Nigeria, include those aforementioned documents with others and submit them on your interview day to avoid delay in the processing of your visa.

All the best!
See you in Germany!!
