Hello everyone. I hope and pray we are all doing good. Please famz, I need your help. I am a may 28th applicant, I have been waiting since then though my background check and eligibility have started for sometime now. I am in my 5th month of waiting. I am really depressed about the whole wait. I haven't done my upfront medicals. I used an agent before I later discovered this thread in a quest for knowledge with regards to Canada visa application, after waiting for two months and no show. I was earlier told by my agent to wait until IRCC request for my medicals but I was later advised by gurus here to go for my upfront medicals as that might be or partly the reason for the delay. I need the house to help me on how to go about the medical appointments and also does anyone have any medical appointment that he/she doesn't want to make use of again ? I greet everyone. One love.. |

Titan1295: I am also May applicant and it will be better if u do upfront medical as the things dey go now. Check IOM or Qlife on Google. Those are the recommended hospital for this Canada journey. It will end in praise |

Thanks but I paid full tuition and no luck with the school they just replied with a mail on how to request for a refund, because i didn't get visa early and it was first come first served. I'll try and draft an appeal letter asap and send to IRCC viviangogos: |

Can my cousins stand as sponsors for me ? One is here and the other in US. The one here would be making commitment of a certain amount that would cover my first semester fee and remain some balance in my account, the one in US would only supply me with all necessary documents for sponsorship. Can this fly?? Also, can I still submit my parents documents? Please, I need a guide on how to go about this. |

Titan1295: Hi Titan, do you have access to your GC key? 5 months is way longer than the average processing time, if you have access to your GC key, you can see the actual position of Ur application, it is always better to book for medical upfront, if you haven't do so now. Once you have your done your medicals you can start sending emails to IRCC every day to remind them to finalize your application. 1 Like |

Sheyman56: You can use them as sponsors but you have to ascertain what they have in their account outside what they will be committing to you, then you have to explain your relationship with them and how close they are to you. |

Let me also quickly add this. As Admin Officer in the establishment , my job duty have lots of HR roles and I signed all company corespondents related to staff. I think it would not be proper for me to sign my document emanating from the company. Can office Secretary Sign? |

Its best you get an appointment before going as they may likely not attend to you. Had to schedule mine to abuja. If you are 15yrs and above which i think you will be, its #46500. eclint: |

Kidsister13:Everyone's story differs. Some have written 3 pages, 5 pages, 7 pages and got approval. It all boils down to the applicant's story. The main focus is to address all necessary expectations of a Visa Officer with strong and cogent reasons as regards yourself on your SOP in a very convincing manner. Take your time an go through the contents and other links in the link below.
