Politicians sound appealing to the public when they are interested in your vote but immediately they get what they want, the narrative changes. |

Penguin2: The best route for peter obi to get presidency is by first been a VP... northerners will not allow an Ibo man at this time SOuth west are smart in this regard they knows... fielding Peter obi will give Osibanjo or any South Westerner an easy ride due to northern sentiments and prejudices against ibos Best route for peter obi to presidency or SE presidency is by first serving as a VP with someone like atiku 2 Likes |

Pottmop: I really feel for SE falling for this southern presidency scam..the SW will use it to outsmart them again come 2023 Because northerners will hardly vote and hand over power to a south easterner.... even if he contest they will prefer a south westerner to an SE aspirant best route to presidency is to project atiku/obi after 8 years the Ibos can now vie for presidency by then they must have gotten the trust of the northerners and as well get their supports |

humility33: We know! That’s why we are not buying into Southwest’s fake southern unity. Instead Yoruba will go for Presidency twice without Igbo going once, then let a Fulani man continue. |

"Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has affirmed that no one group of people, no matter their religious affiliation or tribe can arrogate the leadership of Nigeria to themselves to the exclusion of other people of the country." Thank you Governor Tambuwal for clarifying this constitutional position. It is not new, but some tribes won't let it go away by claiming that it is their turn to produce the next president of Nigeria. I like to see you go to Southeast, Southwest and all the northern Nigeria .geopolitical zones to repeat your position. These tribes; ibos, Yorubas and Fulani contribute nothing to national treasury, yet, they want to be president. God punish them and their mamas Now, do ibos, Yorubas and all other ethnic groups in the northern Nigeria hear you? |

kcnwaigbo:They are like a more educated Fulani. With the same nefarious agenda. Absolutely no difference. If the rest of the south don't call them.on their bullshitt, they would play another fast one on the south. Unfortunately for them, the rest of the south are as educated and will provide a stiffer challenge. |

Penguin2: What about the minority in the south south. They have been the most oppressed of the ethnic groups in Nigeria. The south south minorities whose crude oil money is being used to fund the Nigeria infrastructural projects For the records.Igbos are in most federal position in Abuja, Lagos and across most of the federal parastatal and military, paramilitaries and private sector enjoying lucrative jobs and salaries. It is basically at the presidency Igbos are being marginalized. Igbo man was military head of state for 6 months, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was ceremonial President under Parliamentary system. While Dr Alex Ekwueme was vice president under shagari The most oppressed are the Edos, binis, Ishan, etsako, Urohobos, isoko, ijaws itsekiri, kwales, ibibios, efik, kalabaris, ogonis etc 2 Likes |

Well said. Some and I could say most northerners understand fair play bt when other tribes try to be too smart they play the game of outsmarting quite well. |

Very good one from Tambuwal. However, he should know that no one person can decide to deny another person the right to drink alcohol just because of their religious affiliation. |

We deceive ourselves too much in this country... Speaking with both sides of the mouth. We must come to equity with clean hands. For the sake of justice and equality, power should go to the southeast.... Anything else is just plain wickedness and pretense |
