Today I received refuse this morning base on what in this letter sent, please the guru in the house pls help on what am going to do when reapply, we used company as main sponsored and the husband as second sponsor. Please Quick response.
I am so sorry for your refusal but I think all is linked to ur P.O.F.I think your proof of funds may have a lot of red flags 4 them to refuse u for 4 reasons which I see are all linked to Finance.please order 4 ur note while our gurus contribute.

I am not a guru but my personal opinion is that for ppl that has not applied yet, please if it is possible avoid a company sponsoring u or ur sponsor using his company account as I see a company as a legal entity and seperate from the owner of the company and has it's own assets and liability. it's a corporate being that can sue and be sued and so using a company statement of account as proof of funds, even if ur dad is the owner may not be a good idea even though some ppl have gotten PPR using that means but no two applications are the same.I stand to be corrected though

@Gold4sure1 please was it upfront medical you did and when did you do your medicals ?
When did you also apply ? May God answer our prayers .

No, it wasn’t upfront medical, I got the medical request on 21st September, I did the medical on 7th October, and it was updated to passed 15th October.

Renewal of International passport in this our giant of Africa is like getting another country visa. Can you imagine that today October 16, 2021 complete 3months I did capturing for my passport renewal till date the passport is not ready for collection what upset me most is that the officer told me 6weeks before i want for capturing. After capturing and the 6 weeks expired I started calling this officer he stated telling me that there’s no booklet and he can’t tell me exactly when the passport will be ready for collection.
hahahahah.Am not laughing at u but at the system. My dear I spent the same 3 months waiting for my booklet wen I did mine too.its not the officers fault.our passport booklets are not produced in Nigeria but Malaysia.the pandemic is making things slow but the request for passport has skyrocketed since Endsars when most of the youths lossed all hope in Nigeria.so in a nutshell, the demand for passport is more than the supply, hence scarcity. lol.The politicians are in charge of this ,(ministry of interior which the incompetent Rauf Aregbesola heads) so Our Imigration office is technically not in charge of bringing booklets. I know how u feel cos I was there but u have got no choice but to be patient. trust me.Those Imigration officers too are frustrated with the whole thing

Thanks for your response. Yes it's a cooperative group that registered it's account at Access bank in which I also have access to it as one of the signatory, so am thinking whether I can use it as sponsor since it's a group account, won't it look strange?

It won't fly, rather you can borrow the funds and show IRCC documents that you have borrowed the funds for schooling, someone here has used borrowed funds to get PPR, it will also be a hometie, in that you have an obligation back home to settle.

Same with my wife, she wants to renew her passport too. The reason why she hasn't done the medicals we have paid for. Just because she just did change of name, they told us approval has to come from Abuja. For more than a month now, approval has not come out. Nigeria is terrible ooo. Nobody should even tell me otherwise
yeah, approval must come from ABJ.my sister had same issues. that one takes more time sef

LANDING GIST

Let me start by apologizing for going MIA, a lot of running around.

I got to the Abuja airport around 10am (plenty traffic i wan cry) boarding starts by 11:30am. Met the First Lady who scanned some of my documents (Covid test result and passport), moved to the next queue where they asked what was in my bag and opened to check, the man just scanned through and zipped it back, I moved on to the next queue and the lady requested for my enrollment letter, passport, Covid test result and arrivecan (Omo i filled the arrivecan oo, even printed it out sef) but she said mine had issues and i couldn’t board (in my mind, my village people have found me ooo) she even assigned one of the staffs to help me but to no avail, others had already started boarding and i couldn’t cos arrivecan is a must ooo, finally the lady decided to have mercy and clear me to board without it, I checked my bags in (exact 50kg) I had two hand luggages (a small box and laptop bag) that they didn’t scale or check in. I moved on to board and passed the last groups who didn’t ask for anything asides passport and what are you going for and where. I boarded and we took off, we stopped at Addis Abiba and i boarded another flight to Toronto (we didn’t waste time, just keep reading the signs and locate your next boarding gate) we got to Toronto and first things first, I filled my details into one system and it generated a receipt which i used to proceed,i queued for the first immigration officer who asked for arrivecan and i explained ( he said it’s from the vaccine i took cos I’m fully vaccinated) he asked me to fill on paper this time and that was all, after that I proceeded to the main immigration and it took 1 hour 30 before it finally got to my turn and the lady only asked for passport and letter of authorization, ( she asked which of my courses I’m looking forward to studying and i told her) she printed and gave me study permit, then read the 20 hours work a week rules, omo nobody asked me for how much i had oo or even statement of account wey i carry. ( I had already missed my connecting flight to Vancouver) I went to fly Canada check in and they put me on the next flight which was scheduled to leave in 30 minutes.I had to go pick all my luggages and check them in to my next flight at the Toronto airport, the immigration officer didn’t ask me about vaccine or ask me to quarantine or even where i have in mind ooo(I sha got quarantine update from my arrivecan app and I’ve been filling it daily). I boarded my flight to Vancouver and when i landed there was no more documentation, or anything, I just picked my luggages and ran to my sister. Ethiopian airlines served me 6 meals from Nigeria to Toronto and they were all nice food with any drink of your choice ( I would actually recommend them) plus they had nice movies ooo.

@Bobomaigida
Thank you so much for taking your time to provide me with such a detailed reply. Honestly this has gone a long way to help me clear my head of the confusion

After reading all your thoughts and analysis of the various school, I have decided to settle for Lambton college.

Again, I would said a million thanks

Bobomaigida:

Hi Perfect,

Starting with this issue, if a document is going to be issued from your company that relates to you then it won't be proper for you to sign, another officer can execute it for you.

For the other questions you posed
1. I do not know how you arrived at the poor rating you ascribed to Lambton college, however, from available records, Lambton college had the 2nd highest number study visas issued to colleges behind CDI college in 2020. That being said it is as if you are preparing your mind for a denial hence your reference to the school policy to not defer admission, aren't hoping to get your SP? What you can do if you decide to go ahead with Lambton is to apply for SP very early, like 6 months before your programme start date so that you can get your decision on time, if it turns out bad you can request for a refund, at least the school does refunds.
2. The NBCC offer is only for one year, if you do ahead with this and succeed with the SP, it means you will most likely get 1 year PGWP after your programme, there is no province that gets you a PR faster, however, some provinces have higher employment opportunities than some. That is why IRCC do rural pathways to encourage people to move to the rural provinces
3. If you decide to pursue UNB, you have to check when their admission is open and when it will close, you can use your work experience to cover for the 2:2 grade but your have to have a convincing letter of intent that can sway the admission office to give you the admission, you have to be ready to do some extra work to get the admission( write letter of intent stating that you need MBA to understand overall business models that you can apply to your work and that you are on the verge of getting promotion to a high post hence you need the MBA etc) and then start your SP application.

In all, consider which option will give you peace of mind before deciding which to choose.

All the best.

LET ME SHARE WITH YOU THE NEW METHOD OF RELOCATING TO CANADA THAT ONLY FEW NIGERIANS KNOW ABOUT

After a thorough research on the most affordable method of relocating to Canada.

I found out that people with enough money, high education/qualification background, and high IELTS score usually follow the EXPRESS ENTRY PROGRAM route .......whose cost break-down is shown in the image.

But I found this too costly.

Imagine! After all of these, you will need PROOF OF FUND – to show you are financially buoyant enough to take care of yourself in Canada for 3 to 6 months.

Also, you will still need to pay an agent between 1-1.5 million Naira.

Imagine! Agent will even charge more than the whole expenses.

Agent charge more than what you need for proof of fund, and the whole expenses breakdown.

Perhaps he (agent) may not still give you full attention needed.. because he works with many clients. In fact, some agents have not traveled oversea before smiley

I found all of this too costly and stressful.

So I had to contact a friend in CANADA that just relocated.

He told me that he found it too costly too unless one has much money to throw around.

So he said he had to look for an affordable method that require no agent fee, with low proof of fund and low IELTS score, etc.

This is the method he later used. And he shared this newly discovered method with me.

I found it VERY AMAZING and helpful! And I would like to share it with you.

If you want to know more about this newly discovered method....sent via whatsapp the word "INTERESTED" to zero*nine*zero*seven*one*two*zero*seven*seven*five*three

For the Applicants who applied in march, april and may, still waiting for answers. Please table your case hear so that we can see the similarities and possibly see the VO's concerns.

Just my own little opinion ooo. We shall all rejoice at the end.

I submitted my study visa application on the 9th of May, 2021; I'm still waiting for the IRCC's final decision on my application. After my upfront e-Medical sheet was received by the immigration, I was required to undergo additional medical examinations—sputum investigations, precisely—which I did within the given time frame. Three months after my previous medicals at IOM, the IRCC demanded that I do another chest x-ray as a followup to the one I did initially. Thereafter, the result was said to be negative, and my medical status was updated to "you passed the medical..." some two months ago.

Ever since then, I've been on a tortuous wait to hear from the IRCC. I've sent innumerable emails and raised a lot of web forms, too. On the 18th of September, I applied for my GCMS notes to ascertain the status of my application. I am still waiting for my notes to come. At some point in time, I just wanted to hear about my application, not minding what the outcome might be in order to cool off from the tensions I have had to endure from the delay. However, I am still very optimistic that my good news would come soonest.

Meanwhile, I have already deferred my admission to next fall, being that my program's entry point is only at fall semester. That's exactly where I am now.

I wish everyone of us in this tiring wait for the IRCC Godspeed and grace to be successful in the end.

She did not pity you, she could not have prevented you from boarding, read the following on ArriveCAN on their website:

If you don't submit your information through ArriveCAN
If you don't submit your information through ArriveCAN, you:

may be denied boarding if arriving by air and may be denied entry into Canada if crossing at a land or marine border crossing (if you are a foreign national travelling for discretionary purposes)
Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons registered under the Indian Act and foreign nationals eligible to enter Canada under another entry exemption (such as foreign work, study, compassionate grounds) will not be denied boarding or entry, but you:

won't be eligible for the fully vaccinated traveller exemption
may face additional delays at the border for public health questioning
may be subject to fines or enforcement action

If you were younger Maybe around ages 16-18. You might a have a higher chance with the VO applying to colleges. But even with that IRCC don't consider all DLIs as equals. They give preference to more reputable institutions. So in order to up your chances it's better to apply to a university. Your visa refusals in the united states will not affect you if you declare on your IMM form that you have been refused. Use your SOP to explain you academic intentions, your study gaps, proof of funds and every other thing and you're good to go.

For more advice on the type of program you want to go for and schools you think will be best suited for you. I think you'll have to search on google or contact @lekiboboe our walking google

Thanks for your words of encouragement. What actually prompted the request for additional medical examinations was their suspicion that I might have a TB, following the result of my first chest x-ray. But I thank God it was negative. The review of my eligibility and background check have started since the second week of August. I really wonder what the heck they're still reviewing till now. Maybe my application has been classified under the complex category. Someone in the past on this thread also had a similar experience, as he had to wait for six solid months before getting a final decision on his application.

The silence is epic indeed! But God no go shame us las las.

Hello everyone

Please who has done medicals here recently?

I sent a mail for IOM to schedule me in Lagos but I’m yet to get a response from them.
I’m thinking of going there next week Tuesday to do it whether they schedule me or not but I don’t know if they will attend to me. Especially since it’s a public holiday.

Please i need advice on what to do?

Also who knows how much IOM charges for medicals?

Call them...I called them when I did not get a response to my mail and that was it, I was scheduled.
