Boer, look like you had bad hunting day. Did your trusty arrow fail you? Of course those figures are from IMF. I clearly said by end of this year - 2021.
The 2021 figures haven't been released yet fool, hence it isn't from the IMF now is it?

Kenya doesnt have any minerals worth talking about.

IMF World Economic Outlook - October 2021 Update

African Country nominal GDP top 15
Nigeria - $480 billion
South Africa - $415 billion
Egypt - $396 billion
Algeria - $163 billion
Morocco - $126 billion
Kenya - $109 billion
Ethiopia - $92 billion
Ghana - $75 billion
Angola - $70 billion
Tanzania - $69 billion
Cote d'Ivoire - $69 billion
DR Congo - $54 billion
Cameroon - $45 billion
Uganda - $43 billion
Tunisia - $43 billion

Just30:
since minerals give you free capital, why hasn't Kenya use that free capital to raise people out of poverty ?
Ghana GDP by the end of this year will be 80 billion dollars.

You can consult the World Bank for your country actual GDP per Capita.... It is at 1800 dollars

South Africa is going to play around 300-400B - I dont know why you're excited - the commodities are up - next year - we shall see you back in 300B. The same with Nigeria - Oil prices if they drop - their GDP drops.

Nigeria is oil dependant - South Africa is middle class rut - it been there the last almost 20yrs.

Kenya is making sustainable move FORWARD.

109/53.77 vs 75/31.07

That equals $2027 gdp per capita vs $2412 per capita

how does that equal 2200 vs 2400??

2021 Projected Real GDP (% Change) : 5.6
2021 Projected Consumer Prices (% Change): 6.0

Post apertheid there was growth - until 2010 - and it's been a mess since. I think it's structural middle class rut like you find in Latin America. Mauritus has escaped it and become Africa's only DEVELOPED Country.

You think it's Zuma cooling his heels in prison. I think it's deeper than that.

If you're interested in hunting the truth like yours truly rather than hunting squierels for dinner...here is how it went down.

The genesis is 2009 census - some northern counties in kenya tried to pull a Nigeria - they inflated their population. The statistics body cancelled and corrected them. They went to court and they won. So offically kenya population was inflated...but in 2019 - new measures were introduced to prevent a Nigeria. Most who did the projection using the earlier figures have kenya population figures inflated.

Court declares disputed 2009 census results valid from 8 sub-counties in Mandera and Garissa counties

South Africa has exhibited tepid economic growth over the past twenty years as well as high levels of income inequality characteristic of a middle income country growth trap. ... Kenya GDP over the last 20yrs has grown 9 times. South Africa 3 times. The last 10yrs is even more dramatic. South Africa has basically been struck. Kenya GDP has almost trippled.

Kenya growth is not mineral driven (therefore not subject to cyclic commodity bust-booms), is broad based and therefore sustainable.

South Africa is in middle class trap - you should go to Latin America - and find out why Mexico or Brazil despite being near US - has been stuck - and why only CHile and Argentina made it.

Wonderful city more organized than I thought in fact it's the only city in west Africa from videos have seen from west African cities on youtube which can compare to Nairobi if it adds more skyscrapers but its brt is classier than most african cities, I have nostalgia growing up in a KDF barrack used to move around to different barracks around Kenya where my dad was posted. Most airforce barracks have yellow n white road shoulders while army red n white ones damn childhood memories am in love the red and white road shoulders of Abidjan reminds me of most Kenyan army barracks road shoulders especially legendary memorial hospital barrack cheers mate more videos please.

Unless Kenya GDP was growing at 100% per year for 10 years, it is impossible to grow Kenya GDP 9 times ...

It is also impossible to triple Kenya GDP especially when it was growing at less than 7% for 10 years ....
