I'd would like to applaud those who are responsible for the management of this thread and everyone who has participated in making the thread remain relevant

I have only recently concluded my Msc education at OAU earning a Msc in Technology Management before that, I studied information Technology where I came out with a 2.2., looking forward, I'd like to apply to further my education with a PhD in Operations Management. I understand I will be needing to write the GRE and IELTS for admission/funding purposes.. I have streamlined 3unis in the US and would like if anyone could help better guide me. Thank you

So, I’m considering doing an MPH program with this institute - JLI Switzerland, but I realize there’s no much review on the program. I need help making the right choice before enrolling.

The goal for doing the MPH is ultimately for Canadian Immigration. The program is strictly online and I’m not sure if it’ll be recognized by Education evaluation for Canadian immigrations.

I need advice on the best course of action.

I recently wrote GRE and had 329. (v;161, Q;168). I’m waiting for the official result to be released but I’m very worried about the Analytic writing part. I started with that and I’m not sure I aced it. Still waiting on the official result.

Official result is out and as expected, Analytical writing part wasn’t good.

When are you writing? It should be cheaper and more convenient getting a new passport.

You don't need a passport to register but you need one to write the exam ( test center). It's not needed if you're writing the GRE at home.

Boss. Please I read the ets site that one needs to provide means of identification to the proctor for the home taken test.

Are you saying any means of identification including: driver’s license, NIN or even an expired passport will fly for the home test?

Please anyone who’s done the home test can please weigh in. Nigerian Immigration has over delayed my passport.

Also, I don’t know if I’m late to the party but I just found out I can take a free practice test on Kaptest. I think it’s under Kaplan and I registered using the book a week or 2 ago. If you’d also like to register, I’ll be going to my tutorial center on Monday so you can email me the question you get asked during the registration and I’ll look through the book to give you an answer. Ps- I don’t own the Kaplan book- (I only have ETS and Manhattan) so I only have access to Kaplan from Monday’s - Wednesdays

I don’t know how the home test works. I’m not a fan. What if there’s no light and your gen shuts down when writing? What happens when your system starts misbehaving? So many what if’s! You should have gone to Abj to renew your passport and get it that same day.

These what ifs you just stated are crazy man..
actually didn’t plan to take the GRE earlier when I began the process of renewing my passport. The exam is more of an emergency need at this point.
Will keep fingers crossed and see how this week unfolds before making my final decision.
