I have been talking about our slow build play and lack of press for ages now...You watch Man City, Liverpool, Bayern and all the other top teams and you see urgency in their play but when you watch Manchester United, you begin to wonder why we play with no urgency...

Yesterday, Liverpool went away and made Watford players look like amateurs. The same Watford will face us in the coming weeks and will most like scare the shit out of us...
It's really annoying when I watch us play. And the funny thing is that the players and coaching staff know this about our game.

I watched the replay of Patson Daka's goal and shook my head...Maguire watched Daka make Arun behind him to score...I know Bailly has his demons but I have seen Bailly drop such disastrous performance before...Most annoying is that Ole admitted that Maguire had not trained enough...

As for AWB, the less said the better.

In fact, I don't want to analyze the players anymore, my focus is on Ole...If we improve in defense, we will start having problems scoring...We almost never fire on all cylinders no thanks to our lack of a recognizable pattern of play.

Vardy, Iheanacho and Maddison caused us serious problems you'd be forgiven for thinking they're the much talked about PSG front 3...In our attack, we had Sancho, Ronaldo and Greenwood supported by Bruno yet Evans didn't break a sweat...
Lmao, see the replay for here https://twitter.com/zaiku09/status/1449410487666593805

Go and watch Brighton vs Leicester. Brighton with Welbeck, Lallana and Muapay pinned them in their own half to submission and finished them, creating chances upon chances.
At this point, I make bold to say that Ronaldo will fare better at Brighton than at United...We don't create enough chances, our wingers rather cut and shoot, they hardly ever cross and our starting fullbacks can't cross to save their lives...If Ole had any sense, Telles and Dalot will be used in some games just to see how well they will work with Ronaldo because it won't take long before Ronaldo starts talking via his sister...

I watch Brighton when their game doesn't coincide with ours and I can say for a fact that they play purposeful football and for the most part are let down by their forwards...

Is there any coach in the league that Ole is better than? Maybe that Norwich coach but even then, you can see that Norwich play good football but are lacking in quality...

Ole is a problem...

Ole has spoken about it often but come match day, you don't see any of what he talks about...I have settled for the fact that he just can't implement what he talks about...

I no understand why we have to be starting Ronaldo every match sha, he is 36, can't he be rested, I mean, he should be rested most of the time.
Ole and "rest players" in the same sentence no follow.

The only time we get to see anyone from the bench come in is if one of the regulars are either suspended or injured.

I mean, why must Maguire and AWB play every game whenever they are available? If that guy had his way, he will use the same starting 11 for 50 games straight.

When we were chasing Sancho last season, I remember a few of us said Greenwood already had the right wing on a lock down thus we should rather channel the Sancho fund elsewhere but no, others kept insisting that he will come in and solve our right wing problems...

He is now here but the fraud won't even try him there so, what was the fuss about Sancho and our RW issues about? On the left wing, Sancho plays like Martial, he always wants the ball to feet, he never makes the kind of run Rashford made for his goal...I will wait for when he plays from the right wing to pass judgment because the left wing is locked down for now with Rashford back...

Next season, Greenwood will be our starting forward assuming we don't sign Haaland and Amad should be ready to compete for a starting berth...Sancho better ups his game and fast...

I don't get it? We lost today because our team is badly coached and our setup is terrible but some people are using this to drive a Mcfred narrative.
We conceded 2 goals from set pieces, Maguire's mistake but Mcfred would have prevented the goal right?

It is obvious that all ouridfielders are not good by themselves but depending on who they play along in a match. I mean Pogba,Matic, Fred and Mctominay. In this regard, Mctominay and Fred seems to give the team the best foundation in the way they protect defence, run and battle, and even still go forward.

I didn't watch the Leicester match, but it looks like Matic+Pogba did not do well. These guys are slow.

Bruno is a wonderful player and has been the best player since his signing, we need more players at the midfield to control play. Mcfred are not the best of midfield but they give balance to the team.

So how can you have Bruno, Pogba and Matic and still want anyone else to take the responsibility of a playmaker?

Protect which defense? This is a myth...

Give Klopp, Pep, ten Hag or Tuchel a midfield option of Fred, McTominay, Matic, VDB, Pogba and Bruno and watch what they'll make of it...

We dey see top coaches play 18 year olds if they're better than what they have in the first team. Bellingham would have been playing with U18 if this man buy am.

I still see people blaming Mcfred for our woes even though they have played on about twice together this season and did not play yesterday. Me I am not understanding

Last season they were fit, we did not need DDG to be saving us, instead DDG was having a bad season and we still were doing well. But now without the duo in midfield, DDG is saving us from humiliation.

Brendan Rogers said they noticed that United played 4-2-4 but their forward players were not pressing for the ball, and so Evans and co were able to build from the defence.

Must the blame always go to Fred, who did not even play this time?

He is right. Man U forward don’t press, they are too relax. The team generally don’t press when not with the ball.

They do. Give and run of games and see again.

However, a team with Pogba (£80m) and Bruno should be able to dominate midfield even if Phil Jones is the DM. Put Modric in place of Pogba and you will see a great change

Firstly, 4-2-4 against 3-5-2 is just stupidity. Either the manager is not sensible or Bruno did not play according to instructions. But we can’t blame Bruno, I noticed that he (a midfielder) was the only one pressing upfront, Greenwood and Sancho were not, let’s forget about Ronaldo, you won’t get any press from him, but three players pressing upfront would have made a huge difference.

Now, Having given them time to build from the back, they easily made transitions to the midfield and had their midfielders easily dominate play against a 4-2-1-3 that metamorphosed to a 4-2-4.

Brendan is a smart guy, he saw the weakness and capitalized on it. Our own dullard stood there on the sidelines and was watching like one of the opponent’s spectators.

Arteta had 9 key players missing versus Brentford who are actually good and beaming with confidence of promotion, after that Arteta played European and EPL champions in the next 2 games. If we play Brentford away then City and Chelsea we will lose all the matches guaranteed.

People comment too much about DM and positions. Our problem is a fundamental coaching problem, it has little to do with individual players. They lack proper positioning both when we're with the ball and when we're without. Making players understand where they're expected to be when teammate A has the ball in this position or when opponent B has the ball in this position does not require particularly bright players to understand. What they need is proper drilling from someone that actually understands this, a top football coach. Teaching someone something like this should not take more than 3 months before they are tossed out if they fail to get it; our team should have been playing like a real football club by now, it's been almost 3 years. If Ole is not the coach then he should get a top coach to take over from those amateurs he calls staffs or all of them should most graciously mess off.

If it was down to you to appoint the next manager, who would it be?

Some of the options in Erik ten Hag, Conte, Zidane etc...

I will go with Erik ten Hag because I love the way his Ajax team plays even though I have doubts about his ability to manage the egos in our dressing room (Zidane comes tops if this factor is considered)...
Zidane for his winning mentality.

Which top team uses 2 sitting DMs?

We are badly coached if not, with Pogba and Bruno/VDB alongside any of Fred, McTom or Matic, we can easily control the tempo of a game...

Soumare, Tielemans and Maddison are not in any way better than Matic, Pogba and Bruno, there's nothing anyone will tell me otherwise...

Rodgers is just a better coach...

Sancho came from a team that use to press very well but since he joined us, he has learnt the bad habit...

I don't even want to put it on Ronaldo because at 36 I don't expect him to be running around...Messi at Barcelona hardly ever presses but still Barcelona had a very coordinated press, one of the best ever...

We are just badly coached.

And the fact that he can control the dressing room...Imagine Bruno, Pogba, Maguire and co seeing Zidane in the dressing room...A manager that is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the game whilst he was active and still one of the best managers around with 3 UCLs, why won't the players drop their ego?

I imagine the players doubting Ole and his methods because he can't point to anything tangible he has achieved with it...

He will also be able to sub off any players that is not performing without any fear, A good coach will have remove Maguire and C. Ronaldo, ours does not have that mind.

Yesterday's result saw many folks dump the Olein bandwagon...

Melodyogonna, this is to officially welcome you to the OleOut club...I will circulate a memo to other seasoned members of our profound club indicating your switch however, you're advised to avoid nani667 for now until I see him personally to explain to him that you have switched camp else him fit plank you thinking you're an intruder...

Kindly reach out to others who are too proud to admit that they were wrong all these while that we will welcome them with open arms...

A coach that bought a player from Leicester City and made him the captain of Manchester United should never be taken seriously...

It's not like Maguire was a serial winner with Madrid or Barcelona but Leicester City...He wasn't even part of their EPL win, a player that has not won anything, one that seen more relegation dog fights than trophies...Ole has blood on his hands...
