DubaiLandLord: The problem I have with some of yhu defending this failed and confused government is that most of yhu have very low mental faculty. Ok, how does late submission and wrong data leads to the payment of 6k salary to a whole university lecturer? So, because of late submission and error in data the salary automatically reduced to 6k, as a punishment or what? Yhu see, dullard citizens like yhu deserve a slow poke government currently in power. DubaiLandLord: On the contrary, the problem is from IPPIS. No way you can supply wrong info. The capturing is done by IPPIS staff on ground, using their own systems and templates. Each member of staff will be present physically to supply their data, a print out will be given to you to cross check before you will asked to make photocopy and sign that all is correct. Even those studying in diasopora were asked to come home, and go to Abuja office for capturing. So I don't see d logic in ASUU members supplying wrong info. D late capturing may be due to initial resistance by ASUU, but to say they enrolled wrong infor isn't logical, at all. Modified. If they had actually supplied wrong info, and are getting 6k/ month, why can't we have some that will be overpaid as well? Nothing like wrong info, IPPIS should tidy up their own part 6 Likes |

The rate we are going as a country is not sustainable. Why dont we imbibe some common sense. Suspend new infrastructure that have been draining us, just maintain the existing ones. Use the capital budget to offset our debt so we can free ourselves from the debt burden. Then we can take it up from there. I mean use simple micro management of fund sense on an aggregate level. Why spend on unviable infrastructure (roads, bridges, culverts, dams) when Human Capital Development is dwindling? Education is crumbling, healthcare is shambling, agriculture is unsustainable. 1 Like |

Well said sir/ma, a lot of illiterate graduates, who can't even operate a computer. The government instead of putting fear in the youth mind they should build courage, Nigeria should be like a back bone for them, help them with self awareness, make research. If the government can just investment in educating the citizens, but they would not do that because for that to happen it means their end is near , the citizens would wake up to reality, then the case of Nigeria would be solved. We can all forgive the politicians and move forward,, I hope my generation can do some cleaning for our younger ones and generations to come( the one we care about a lot) . nairaland is a good platform for Nigerians to preach love,, show you care. |

THESE LECTURERS REFUSED TO SUBMIT THEIR DATA BECAUSE MOST OF THEM ARE ENROLLED ON THE PAYROLL OF SEVERAL UNIVERSITIES. THEY COLLECT SALARIES FROM MULTIPLE UNIVERSITIES CAUSE THEY ARE EMPLOYED THERE IS THE RESIDENT LECTURERS........BUT WHAT THEY NOW DO IS THEY THEN OUTSOURCE THOSE POSITIONS TO OTHER LECTURERS......MEANING THEY GET THOSE MULTIPLE JOBS THEN EMPLOY LECTURERS UNDER THEM WHO THEN HANDLE THOSE POSITIONS. THEY KNOW THAT ONCE THEY SUBMIT THEIR DATA FOR ALL THOSE MULTIPLE POSITIONS IN THE DIFFERENT UNIVERSITIES WHICH THEY HOLD,. THEIR FRAUD WOULD BE FOUND OUT. AKWUZU SARS FALL INSIDE THEIR ANUS.
