Former Secretary of State Colin Powell has died due to complications from COVID.

He was 84 years old.

His family released a statement on Facebook saying: 'General Colin L. Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, passed away this morning due to complications from Covid 19.

'He was fully vaccinated. We want to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Center for their caring treatment.

Wow, it is scary to think that General Colin Powell died of Covid19 despite being fully vaccinated against Covid19. Perhaps his age of 84 increased the risk of him getting bad symptoms despite being fully vaccinated.

All the same this death serves as a reminder to all who are fully vaccinated to keep wearing those masks and continue with the social distancing that has been advised for the past 2 years, until this terrible disease fades away.

Yes it does that was why Jackson and his wife didn't die despite being in their 70's and hospitalised.Powell had multiple myeloma which put him at a much higher risk of death just because of less than 1% doesn't disprove the efficacy of the vaccines.
