Not every modification is good. We know this one is evil because of their antecedents and history of poisoning whole populations using food. The bolded are basic procedures that are already being be carried out even by small farmers.

E.g. A modification that will cause yams to mature in two months instead of 7-9 months can produce a great yield but can be harmful to health and must be investigated.

A modification that will grow and ripen crops artificially without sunlight should be investigated as such crops may possess harmful substances and may even be cancerous.
