A car procession is currently going on at the Lekki tollgate in Lagos in memory of the #EndSARS protests of last year.

This is despite a ban on protests in Lagos and the heavy presence of armed police personnel at the tollgate.

The activists who turned up at the tollgate with their cars were seen waving Nigerian flags from inside the vehicles and honking the horns while singing solidarity songs.

Speaking to newsmen, they stated that they will continue going to and fro the tollgate as their own way of protesting.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that operatives of the Lagos State Police Command arrested two protesters at the Lekki tollgate where the #EndSARS Memorial Protest is scheduled to hold in the state today.

One of those arrested claimed to be a journalist while the other was seen carrying a placard.

The police had reportedly warned that anyone seen at the tollgate without an ID card will be arrested.

To those who lost victims here last year and others affected directly or indirectly, I Stand up with you and ask we make a better nation by asking our leaders to do what is right at all times!

Let's believe in Nigeria, let our leaders make us believe in this country again...

I was at the lekki tollgate, in commemoration of the innocent youths killed by an order from BURATAI and buhari in cohort with sanwoolu and BAT.

We will never ever ever forget.

Edited / sanwoolu and BaT were blind sided.

Yes they asked for troops to be deployed, but they never asked that innocent armless youths be shot..

When I was in Japan 2008, I noticed that they don't have dustbin in public places , yet Japan is very clean.

The Japanese mindset is why Japan is organised. Even if Nigeria chànges all it's leaders, nothing would change in this country.






Once you are dead, you no longer exist. Dead people can't enjoy memorial service.

We are all going to die one day, so don't be in a hurry to die. Don't join a useless procession. If you will take risk, take calculated risk.

The country cannot be changed one day, mindset must change too, we must change our operating system, if not we are deceiving ourselves.
