China has already supercede Europe except maybe Germany in automobile industry. As for UK and france, china is already leading them In any technological space . On USA, A researched tracked by scopus said China has more output on scientific and engineering related article than USA but still wanting on natural science and high quality output. This is not to say China is backward anyway as it is currently getting the world attention. I see china given usa a rough time in the coming years .
