Well for example a woman who sleeps around isnt classified as wife material because her man can never know peace and will be ridiculed amongst his peers. A man who doesnt have peace at home cannot focus on his work. Also we have a saying in yoruba land, "if you dont want to know your mothers past dont enter politics" what this translates to is if you marry a woman who sleeps around, you are limiting your success or celing because the more successful you get the more your (her) skeletons will be exposed and you ridiculed publicly, not only you but also your children and you know children are brutal!!!

How many of them are at the very top? I am not talking about drug dealers and yahoo boys. How many men at the very top have a scandalous wife? Men with scandalous wives are mid level or below. Having said that, dont use the calibre of people in Nigerian politics as a benchmark. You might do ok but you will not get to the peak if your wife is scandalous.

perhaps what I should say is anybody can marry anybody but there is a difference between marrying a woman and marrying a wife. That you married a woman does not mean you married a wife!!!!
