If George isn't a Christian name but an English name, then one can also argue that Idris isn't a Muslim name, but an Arabic name. Religions don't own names (for the most part). Ethnic groups do. An Arab Christian can bear the name Idris. The name simply means "interpreter" and has no religious connotations at all.
