Nope Nigeria is getting better and once we hit a stable economic growth of atleast 5% annually which I envisage then SA will probably see dust as we would be moving Chinese kind or transformation. Hunter, US infrastructure was great but it's crumbled due to disrepair - it very likely to find potholes in some US inner roads than even in RSA, water pipes are leaking, sewage system broken, the railway is more a relic, name it, it's old and crumbling. Infrastructure need to be maintained and or even replaced. For instance most roads have 20yr life span. That is why the idea that country cannot overtake another is ridiculous.

Progressive ideas/cultures will always triumph over primitive stone age relic. Africa can choose to join the civilized world - or remain poor, ignorant and retrogressive. The people who suffer are going to be African - mostly women and minorities.

The African male want to retain his patriarchal dominance in the primitive society...and will reject any change to become a modern civilized man...as unafrican.

You will find African man sweating about abortion - like he has ever carried pregnancy that the father has rejected. Sweating over LGBT+ like someone has ever forced him or her to be one.

White society has advanced because of introspection - their societies are fairer, more just, more organized, more clean - because they have over the years dismantled a society that codemn women and minorities to almost men slaves...and those women now contribute their part in nation building.

There is very little we can take as pride in our Africa culture - it's primitive, it's retrogressive, it's patriachrial - and no one of us want to live in the society we have created - and would run to the white world if they were to flung open the borders.

But we do not want to change our behavior/culture/attitudes/ethics...we end up abroad and create slums, broken families, kids out wedlock, begging and poverty.
