For those who are coming for studies in south Cyprus.

Please note the new rules.

You can't travel to other European countries if you haven't done with your studies. Embassies now have to contact universities before your visa is approved. And you would need to submit your transcript and letter from university.

Secondly, before your resident permit would be out, is around the range of 4-6months now.
So, no employer would employ you without resident permit. Therefore, you will need to have euro that would sustain you for 6months before you get a better job.

Only if you want to work as a farmer.

Hold your 2,000euro at the port of entry. Hence, you would be send back home.

This is the requirement for south Cyprus Visa

1. Original attested copy of Passport (Valid for at least 2 years).
2. Original attested copy of High School Leaving Certificate and Mark Sheet (transcript).
3. Original attested Police Clearance Certificate (6-month validity).
4. Original attested Bank Letter verifying that the student’s sponsor has sufficient funds to cover the tuition fees and
living expenses of the student while studying at the University (6-month validity). sponsor could be your father, mother, family or friends
5. Original attested Bank Statement with the minimum amount of first-year tuition (1-month validity).
6. Original attested sponsorship letter stating the sponsor’s relation to the student and his/her willingness to sponsor
the student for the living and tuition expense, where the sponsor(s) are parents. In the case that the sponsor is
someone else other than a parent, an original attested affidavit of sponsorship is required.
7. Original attested Blood Test results for HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis B, and C (4-month validity).
8. Original attested Chest X-Ray report for tuberculosis (4-month validity).
Please note: Validity periods start from the date a document is issued. They must still be valid at the date of
submission.

Follow the below steps to ensure you prepare your visa documents correctly:
1. Prepare and have issued all of the above-mentioned documents. Please note that for some documents you

There is no job in South Cyprus, It is a difficult country and always be well prepared when coming here. You need a lot of Euros because the exchange rate is very high, 1 euro is 650 naira. Cyprus is not like Western Europe. I repeat there is no job, just have it back of your mind. The little job you can have here is already taken by the Asylum. They care more for refugees than students. Do your research very well. Anyone trying to convince you to come to Cyprus. I mean south Cyprus. He is getting a commission from the school. Assuming your tuition fees are 5000 Euro. He is getting a 1500 Euro commission as an agent. Nobody does anything for free. There are always benefits. Do your research very well if it is going to favor you or not. I am not here to discourage anybody but be well prepared and make sure you have steady income if not. Your name will be sorry. I believe with your full PGD transcript and HND, you would be able to secure msc in any administrative/management course.

But with your HND only and good statement of purpose, you can secure MBA with 70% tuition fees waver. The tuition fees is normally 10k euro.

Next intake would be from may - August next year. Check university of Cyprus for more information about there MBA and also make more research.

However, I only know about university of Cyprus, 70% tuition fees waver. There are other universities too. Try to search too.

If I have 5000 euro when I came to study. Then I will just pay my 3000 euro full tuition fees, and balance my 1 year house rent with the 2000euro.

So stop complaining be you lack information, then you fall mugun. My university when I even paid the 3000 installment like for 1 year.

For work aspect, no International students get to European countries and start working in a big company, everyone start small. So stop making the same complain you made in Nigeria

1euro = #650 stop complaining to us, blame your government. When you start earning in euro and start sending as little S 100euro to Nigeria which would be 60k plus now. You will not come here to tell us euro to naira.

With my first and second semester alone, I was able to secure fully funded masters in management and logistics in Indonesia And Brunei with accommodation free. Because they didn't include monthly payment.

If I sit in Nigeria with only my HND, who will ever give me masters admission with full tuition fees scholarship and accommodation.
Imagine the university called me like 50times to know why I declined. They even assign one beautiful girl to always chat with me on WhatsApp, to change my mind.

My humble advice to everyone wishing to travel to any European countries as a student.

1.
Always plan to have your living expenses to sustain you for like 3months. Pending when you will get your permit and get job. So ask people the average monthly feeding, accommodation and utilities with transport. And other registration fees with unforseen expenses.

2. Don't have it in mind, you want to come and start working big. Remember there are indians, paskistani, Philippines, lapal, Lebanon, Indonesia, malesia, Ghana, Togo, south Africans, etc that are in Europe to look for job too. Therefore, stay humble, start humble, and be faithful and consistent with that little job you start with. This is the reason why European citizens preferred asian over us.

I worked as a kitchen assistant in my first work place, in just 2 weeks, I could operate the chocolate machine, clean the mould, design the mould , help them arrange delivery products, package the chocolate.

In just one months, my boss, asked if I want asylum seeker paper, so as for me to stay in Cyprus. Which I said no. After 3months, I told them am living or they must increase my salary, and they should also do work permit for me. Which they agreed. Eventually, that same month I got a job in a multi- international company.

From cleaner to a big muilti-international company.

My boss and asked me, are you sure you re from Nigeria?
I said yes, then she said, you re the only Nigerian that I have meet who is different.
I replied her, there are thousands who are better than me.

Secret:
I started little with 400euro
Did my work faithfully and consistently
I did not complain, but was happy with my little beginning.
Contributed my own idea towards the company sales, which increased.
And God sees my heart and blessed with a job which I did not apply for.

3. Live simple, this is not time to got to beach, party, eat at restaurant. Go for lectures, go to your part time job, get things to cook in the market and go home to cook and eat.
Sacrifice before pleasure. Not pleasure before sacrifice. If you want pleasure before sacrifice. Then in just 6month, you will either find yourself doing yahoo, or drugs and you know the end of the story.

My first boss and colleague bought me different of wears because they realize I had been putting on same 3 different of wear for
More than 4months. But I made them realize that I have alot of clothes, but at this time. It all about my goals and not fashion show.

Ever since that day, there perspectives about me changes, the respect increases. And they love me more.

4. Make sure you finish your study, there are better opportunity with that certificate. You might not know for now. Don't look for money and forget study, you might end up loosing both. No money no certificate. Your case would now be like BOB( Boselo , Lose Bo)

5. Build your network with the citizen, your colleague at university, expeciallyThe citizen, and lectures and ask for help, about Job. apply for jobs every day, ask your universities, neighbor, etc. And don't sit down at home complaining that there is no job in Europe. If there re jobs in Nigeria, why not stay back? There are no job anywhere. ( job had been lost for long time) people re looking for it.

6. Pray and pray to God, and live a life that will make God show you his mercy and grace. Trust me, there is nothing without God.

Well, Don't be deceive by population, rather the country products, Good's and services and including export. And Cyprus don't even have upto Lagos industries. They are just been lucky to be in EU.

Secondly, they don't need aslyum again. Presently the government had made it necessary for all international students to fill aslyum seeker undertaking form before you come to Cyprus.

With this form, no matter how you file for aslyum in Cyprus. The immigration will not accept. And not all that clam to be aslyum seeker here are true aslyum seeker. Must of there were rejected. So they are just living risky life here, because they can't leave Cyprus. Because if they reach airport. There case would be arrest and deport.

This wasn't the case when I came in 2020. Which means they don't need aslyum seeker.

Lastly, how do you even want to survive with 275euro per month, when accommodation, electricity, water, internet, waste bill is inevitable. With transport and feeding.

Nothing like coming to Cyprus to study hard, get your certificate, build good network and move on to Canada, USA or other good European Schengen countries.

But try to be aslyum in Cyprus. You will be here 10years, and your life will be stagnant.

Good day guys. I don't really know what is wrong with south cyprus migration in issuing students visas to students now. There have been mass complain about the situation now as it is now taking months to issue an entry permit. I submitted my docs on late Sept but till now no visa has been issued and my University told me that migration has falling two months behind the normal schedule as it normally takes two weeks before. My University now have to transfer my admission to January and they told me that my application has been submitted to migration and it was accepted based on that I submitted them with the certification on them and also it was accepted based on the issued date too. My bank statement is supposed to be 1 month validity but it was 1 month and 2 weeks and it was accepted.
Now my University told me they will let me know when migration will call them to come pay the visa fee for processing of my entry permit. They as also said they can't give me a time when migration is likely to call them. Pls guys help is any one in the same situation?

First, you said September. Hmmm. Let me explain to you.. people who applied around July - August are here already. And I told you guys. September is late application.

Remember student are coming from India, Indonesia, Nepal, Iraq, paskistani, Ghana, south Africa, Cameroon. Etc.

Trust me, this people applied early. So be patient, if you submit true and good documents, you don't have to be worried. They will give you the visa.

I was told that this year that I started the thread and YouTube video. The numbers of African student who applied tripled.

The most funniest thing is that, there are Nigerian that have been here for more than 4 years , but they decide to hide the information from you guys
