First of all,you don't get picked as a starter for Brazil unless you're a good footballer. The main problem he has is every other player he gets paired with has a weakness that means Fred has to cover for them (McTom hiding from the ball means Fred has to receive it and be more proactive than he naturally would be, Pogba's lack of defensive ability means Fred has to cover more, Matic is great until his legs go at which point Fred has to cover more).

Although he acts like a drunk sometimes but regardless of his performance. I fvcking hate how this fanbase has treated him. while McTom can do absolutely nothing the whole game. Fred will still be the one get abused.
