So Called Igbo Commercial Strength by Nobody: 11:12am On Oct 23, 2021
If you like call me an igbo hater, i don't have one hate against the igbos.

I will just like to correct some things about igbo commercial strength, first and foremost the igbos so called commercial strength start and ends in lagos, if the igbos think they are good in trading then they haven't met a hausa man.

Northern history is all about trading, when other tribes were busy running naked, the hausas were busy trading and importing and exporting goods thru and from countries as far as saudi Arabia through the deserts.

The sad reality is most southerners who praise the igbos for their commercial strength haven't traveled out their bubble in lagos. If they have, they would have know that for what every commercial activities the igbos does, the hausa man does that in thousands of fold.

Is it transport business, electronic, spare parts, etc, just think about any business, the hausa man does them too.

I think most of you should go and read about northern history in trading, everything about the north is trade, that is why you will hardly see a hausa man being idle, he must do one trade or the other to survive.

Mr man stop joking.

You don't know what you are typing.

The igbo business men in the north are nothing like the igbos in the south, they are accomodating and do businesses with hausamen.

Many igbo business men are in partnership with hausa businessmen in the north, that is how they survive.

Apart from that, Most businesses in the north are owned by Northerners, is it spare parts, gold shops, transportation businesses, electronic, grocery shops, just name it, the hausaman is the owner.

I have been in the north. I have been in the east. Politics and religion have destroyed commerce and trading skills of hausas. Presently, bandits and Islamic jihads are destroying cattle rearing business of fulanis and agric business of hausas.

No tribe can match igbo commercial skills today. Igbo used their trading and apprenticeship skills to survive post-war economic paralysis while other religions are still in victory mood even after 50 years war ended. Igbos have monopolised trading and commerce in the country.

You haven't travel out of your bubble.

The biggest electronic store in the north is owned by a hausa man.

The biggest spare part store is owned by a hausa man.

All the suppliers of both new and second hand clothes to igbo traders in the north are all owned by hausa men.

The igbo trading and commerce starts and end in lagos.

Abudant of trade by hausmen are going on daily in kaduna and kano everyday.

The igbos are nowhere to be found in trade in the north.

All the groceries shops, the rice shops, the top indomie distributors, the biggest spare part businesses, the cloth businesses in the north are all owned by Northerners

Most of you live in a bubble.

Which igbo commercial powess, is it by cheating and playing games with customers.

igbo commercial powess ends in lagos. Maybe they have monopolize some sectors in lagos but in the north, they can't because they can't compete with honest hausa traders.

All these idiotic dribbles could be easily settled by the disintegration of the shithole called Nigeria. My grandfather told me that "People do not argue about who had the best wrestling skills when there is plenty of empty land". I shall state unequivocally that Islamic Republic of Arewastan cannot outcompete Republic of Igboland in anything, I mean the good, bad and ugly. During the first republic, Port Harcourt and Calaber in eastern Nigeria were almost in the same circle with Apapa.

Zaria is in kaduna. So if you had few friends there, how does it matter. Are your friends traders??

Even the shops you bought all your groceries from in kastina, even though small is owned by a hausa man grin

Kano and kaduna are the hubs of northern trading. About 98% of commercial activities in thosè states are carried out by hausa men.

Just mention any trade, the hausa man is the one doing them.

The bunch of distributors of gold , new clothes and second hand clothes, importers of cars and spare parts, electronics, just think about any business are owned by hausa men...even the groceries shops are owned by them.

Lets be factual.

The north is supporting the country with agriculture
The South South is supporting the country with oil.

Oil and agriculture sales still remain the source of our foreign exchange.

Come to think of it, what has the south east produce that can support the nation?

You don't produce anything but want a fair deal in oil sales and agricultural sales

The bolded indicts your level intellect. Before Kaduna was made a state, there was Kaduna town and it still exists as Kaduna town despite Kaduna State. There is Oyo town despite Oyo State. There is no doubt Zaria is part of Kaduna State but Kaduna town. If you still parade your silly self as the cream of the crop of the would-be Islamic Republic of Arewastan, I urge Allah to be merciful.

Localised business. Igbo people have quite number of big investments outside their regions. Even in funtua where I served, there were quite number of igbo businesses How many hausas have big investments outside their regions? That is the difference.
