If INEC is planning on Anambra elections without addressing the issue of IPOB sit-at-home, it will amount to waste of scarce resources. Why do we like to deceive ouselves in Nigeria, for goodness sake? Who are the adhoc staff that will risk their lives going to polling stations? How can a mere 5000 police, some of whom are sympathetic to IPOB cause control a people of over 3 million population of which about 95% believe that elections should not hold? How will INEC handle logistics with sit-at-home commencing on Nov 5? If INEC is not deluded, by now it would have postponed the elections by one week to November 13 2031. That way, the trial date for Nnamdi Kanu would have passed and stakeholders' negotiation with IPOB deepened, however, if INEC insists on November 6, then they will meet a deserted state like whar Buhari met on the day he visited IMO state, with only Uzodinma and his family alone around the airport to receive him. Even APC chieftains will not dare go out to vote.

Postpone the election till when? See, even if it’s one person that vote, it will be recorded and a winner declared. IPOB can not hold the country to ransom so postponing the election is not an option.

Do you understand why INEC declared OSUN elections Inconclusive? Registered voters who could/did not vote were more than the votes by which Adeleke was leading. Those of you who think one-way are the problems of Nigeria, hence people refer to such one-way thinkers as ZOMBIE.

Are you an illiterate? How is cancelled votes equal to people who didn't vote?

Cancelled votes is different from those not interested in voting..

Anambra election will hold..even it is Andy Ubah that voted for himself. He would be declared winner..

Of what use is holding an election if your citizens cannot come out to vote?
Agreed that a group of people should not be given that power to hold the entire nation to ransom, and it's possible some affluent politicians may be sponsoring the mayhem in order to disrupt the elections, it still remains in the interest of the general population for the government to either postpone the elections, or at least take concrete steps to guarantee beyond all doubts the safety and security of all individuals coming out to vote and officiate on that day.

Zombies are always right. That is why you consider disenfranchised voters irrelevant. How are you sure that Andy Uba can go and vote, yet Soludo and Obiano cannot? Who is going to collate the result, you? Okay carry yourself to Anambra on November 6. Just because you have london phone or used laptop is not enough to encourage foolishness and rant all over NL.

You obviously don’t understand electoral law. Voter apathy as a result of IPOB sit at home is not a ground for declaring an election inconclusive. Once INEC can put in place basic logistic for the election, those that defy the order to come out and vote will be allowed to do so and their votes will be counted and a winner declared. It is that simple.

2015 and 2019 general elections was postponed because of insecurity.
Same should be done in Anambra State. Even if it means postponing it till January.
Handover is March 17th, still within 30 days.

Op is 100% correct.

Are you admitting IPOB are terrorists who use violence to enact political outcomes? Who's planning on attacking the poll workers if its not IPOB? The election holds in places like borno but the SE is too dangerous.

Anyway if the Nigerian constitution doesn't leave room power vacuums. If anything we will see our first run off election if we don't get winner in the first round like usual.

You can not undermine the influence of IPOB in South East Nigeria now. The FG is treat Nnamdi Kanu trial fairly.

First they should take him to a correctional centre and not DSS.
Secondly, his trial should as fair and transparent as possible. The issue of barring journalists, Ohanaeze, and many others from the court premises should be addressed.
And Possibly they should dialogue with IPOB, its not out o place.

This is the reason why we don't argue with Ochanja IPoB. Did Inec declare the Osun election inconclusive because of people who could not vote or they declared it inconclusive because of the cancelled votes?
