Today marks 15 WD since I submitted my biometrics. I paid for standard processing because priority was not available in my country of application at the time. I tracked my application and it reads that it is still at the DMC.

Has anyone who applied in September (Non-priority) received their passport back?

My intended travel date is 30th of October and I am a bit worried.

Received an email from TLS today (16 WD) informing me that my passport is ready for collection. I paid for the courier service so I have to wait for it to arrive. Hopefully it will come with my visa in it.

Dear Gurus, I’m currently filling out my application. For the question that says: ‘how much do you intend to spend personally “ Should I include the part my husband is contributing or just the amount coming from my pocket?
For instance can I answer that question with £750, then £1000 for the part that asks if someone else is contributing towards my trip?

Most applicant do not understand so many things about visa application . The embassy would not deny any employee a visa based on the fact that CAC site shows inactive. For employees, Inasmuch as the company pays salary thru the companys account there is no issue. As you may have known, no bank in Nigeria would open a corporate /business account for anyone without verifying the company documents. If applicant had submitted an account that shows salary or had submitted his companys account with the application all these wouldn't have happened. My opinion...

I applied for UK Standard Visitor Visa last week, my UK Sponsor has traveled to my country (Ghana) for some business purpose (emergency) and will return to the UK next month.
Will this have an impact on my UK visa application, as my sponsor is currently not in the UK but will be next month? My trip is scheduled for November 19th.
