ChrisKels: Are you just noticing? It's their ticket to 5mins relevance in here. Before it used to be Iheanacho they have to constantly pick on to draw my attention, now they choose the Osimhen route. And they think I will pay them mind. Bunch of attention seeking clowns. 7 Likes 1 Share

Amoo is an AM that can also play on the wings: Stop your ignorance And I read some comments on Amoo. Do you see why it is bad for football analysis to allow ignoramuses contribute to something they have absolutely "Zero knowledge" about? How can someone seriously be using Transfermrkt to ask if Amoo is even an AM when we know not everything on Transfermrkt is accurate. As one who is experienced and skilled in the use of various football sites, I can easily decipher which info to use and which to ignore even from sites as Transfermrkt. I remember having to call out and Correct World renowned Whoscored and Sofascore on twitter for an error made on Alhassam Yusuf and they responded swiftly. These sites are not immune to errors or some form of inaccuracy and that is why it is better to make out time and watch these lads for yourselves to form an authoritative opinion on them. How many time are you going to lazily depend on some sites alone to rate a player when you have Zero eye test knowledge of him? Lol In the Swedish Allsvenskan recently, Amoo has been played in Attacking Midfield from the right channel of the Central attacking third in a 3-5-2. He's played as one of two advanced AMs in front of the DM, with a Wingback running the right channels. This is when he is not used as a RW in a 4-3-3 which is where he featured in for most of last season (his debut season) and for some good part of the current season. Also, Transfermrkt were confused about what position he occupied in a 3-5-2 and that is why they put him as CM in a few games when infact, he was playing AM with his heatmap focused on the right to central areas of the Central Attacking Midfield third. Even the official Allsvenskan TOTW placements of Amoo gives this away easily just in case you haven't been watching him closely like I have. He's made the TOTW in Sweden twice as an AM. 3 times overall. Once as a LW and twice as an AM which is again testament to the analyses I gave dropped several times before that the lad is adept both as a Winger and in the AM role. Predominantly, he plays RW when on the wings yet he made TOTW as a LW. In Conclusion, try to watch before you type and drop silly takes abeg. Ignorant takes hurt proper football analyses. It's funny walking in here and reading the baby-like takes of some folks. Especially that one on Ighalo. Chaaiiiii.... God help us on this thread. Grazie!!! 7 Likes 2 Shares

Guys should keep an eye out for Sadiq Umar. I understand he doesn't get analysed here well enough except when he scores. That lad has the highest goals contribution in the entire La Liga Smartbank and he is bound to get even better. I tip him to finish tops in the scoring charts barring any injuries or other form of unavailability. Dude may be playing 2nd tier football but I have no doubt he will do very well in La Liga when the time comes. Been keeping watch over all these lads like a shepherd keeps watch over a thousand+ sheep and I keep beating myself up for having someone like Rohr at the wheel of our team. Just annoying. But guess what? Can we win the Afcon with Rohr? Believe me when I say it is possible but it won't be down to Rohr's tactical ingenuity coz he has none. It would be done to making the right selections per game and the quality of the players shining through. It will be like France's WC triumph. Deschamps may have have the WC as coach but a keen analyst knows how tactically deficient he is as well. He is also quite conservative and still haven't gotten the best out of France's new golden generation of mad talents. What helps him is making the right selection and the players do the rest. Deschamps' tactical deficiencies have been exposed by other opponents, sometimes when it matters. We shall see if same repeats with Rohr. fabyom: 4 Likes 2 Shares |

TheSuperNerd: You're still being a coward You mentioned Zero twenty times without having the audacity to call my name. Stupidity is saying that Transfermrkt is not accurate while using team of the week postings to determine a players position, Totm doesn't care about where a player plays they just want to fit all the best performing players in a starting eleven hence you can see Mahrez in AM, De Bruyne as a holding midfielder, heck you can even see fullbacks in center back positions, so next while being a coward try to sound intelligent atleast 6 Likes

elyte89: This is so because it is the thinking of an average football fan. Goals only. Every Striker is rated by how many goals he scores because that is what the average fan world wide looks at. Nothing more. And it is partly because of average fans (who dominate the football audience) that Osimhen knows he has to keep scoring. And goals he will keep getting but like I have always said... he is a striker whose qualities transcend "Goals only". An average fan is only concerned about the superficial stats. But when one is concerned about the deeper details of the beautiful game, he will always look beyond the superficial. We all saw Osimhen on Thursday drop another Masterclass Performance. They won 3-0. Did he score a single goal?? No. Did the stats say he recorded any assists? No. If anyone didn't see that game, they will conclude that ohhhh Osimhen must have had a shitty game because he didn't "contribute" to their win. That's how an average football fan thinks. Scorelines-only... Goals-Only.... results-only. But those who saw the game know beyond this superficial report and can tell you authoritatively that Osimhen was Napoli's MOTM and their best player again. Winning two penalties (which don't count as assists on many sites) and delivering AGAIN a performance worthy of a true #9. You see, elyte... results only doesn't say the whole story. So which are you? An Average football fan or an analyst/fan who wants to know beyond the superficial. Choice is yours. 4 Likes 1 Share

Subzero047: I guess your name is also Jihday and 12large1 who also dropped ignorant takes on Amoo. Una plenty. I referred to you all and more and I bet you haven't seen one full game of Amoo at Hammarby. Lie about that as well. And TOTW in Sweden is official and position specific. Organised and compiled by Discovery sport+. They don't just fill in players based on any stats from sofascore or whoscored which is why theirs always differ from these sites. I bet you are IGNORANT of that as well. As usual, a fool keeps being a fool. 3 Likes 1 Share

TheSuperNerd: U don't understand why winning a penalty that was converted does not count as an assist. I mean, that is ignorant on part of most sites. I started taking most sites less seriously when I noticed this trend. You do not have to be an expert to know that winning a penalty is important. Anyone knows that talk less of winning 2 penalties. Some sites can be funny. Winning a penalty should count as chance created to any sensible human being |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 11:57am On Oct 30, 2021 |
Subzero047: Okay, so because you have "Zero" in your name, you want a breakdown of what each mention of "Zero" stands for. Lol I had no better tag for the takes you lots gave in the posts I came across. "Zero" describes it best especially as none of you have watched Amoo for a full 90mins. Not even once. And since you are among the "ignorants" in this case, what better name to class you all as except Zero? Well, that's just what came to mind. So no be only you I carry for mind abeg. You aren't that important, trust me. And again, you don't follow the Swedish Allsvenskan and how they compile their stats and performance indexes for TOTW. They have been spot on for positions. Even Naija wonderkid, Ishaq Abdulrazak made TOTW only as a Wingback as seen below which reflects his performance that week in same position and is also the position he executes predominantly for IFK Norrköping. And I have done little enough explaining it. So if you like, wallow in your ignorance because of pride or because it's coming from Nerdie whom thou detest so much. Fact is you cannot hold a strong argument against proper unbiased Eye test Abeg... we are done here. 1 Like 1 Share
