Call BA on 07080601736, tell them you would want them to book a ticket for you. Also, tell him/her that you will like to pay in Naira through your bank (u can do this via GT Internet banking airline & travels menu). Usually, I search for the ticket myself before calling them. This way you would have an idea of the cost. They usually add $30 charge. For example if you see $890 when you search yourself, you probably would be told $920 when they assist you. Lastly, they will also tell you the cost in Naira (cbn rate conversion) and ask you to pay before the ticket expires.

Please I have 4 large deposits in my account within the last 6 months. These are all above my monthly salary. I don't have a business but I invest in crypto and since these payments are above 1 million naira, I don't know how to explain them. Especially because the CBN banned sale of crypto in Nigeria and it may be used against me. My submission is next week sad

I don't think your dealing with crypto is an issue and would prevent you from being issued a UK visa. My husband is a full time crypto trader and he declared it when we applied for UK visa in May. He uploaded screenshots of his metamask wallet showing his balance and his binance wallet showing his balance. He explained in his cover letter that several large payments into his bank accounts from several people are from people that bought crypto and paid him from binance peer to peer. Despite this we were both issued visas, we travelled in July spent a month and we are back to Nigeria.

You are subject to immigration control therefore are not able to work at all.

This is an irregularity and has become a common error and should not apply to you.As a dependant you should be able to work full time.

It could be a couple of things eg that the main applicant is schooling for less than a year, or at a level less than RQF Level 7,Or just an administrative error.

What to do?.I suggest you type BRP replacement/Vignette issues online there is a Uk gov link that can sort you out but do it ASAP.

https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/report-problem

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/correcting-an-incorrect-endorsement-ecb19/correcting-an-incorrect-endorsement-ecb19

It take from 10days minimum but will be rectified.

Take a deep breath my friend…you are okay!.Good luck.

Good morning nnaemeka82,you need to go online for the visa form.

Requirement and such have been discussed extensively on this thread so go back a few pages you will find all you need.

Alternatively have a read of this link;
https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor/apply-standard-visitor-visa.

Cheers!.

Good afternoon all.

Please I need your advice.

I submitted my Skilled Visa application on the 4th and did my biometric on the 19th Oct. I am supposed to resume work in UK on the 1st November, my visa is not yet out. I received an e mail from DVO on the 25th asking for an additional documents which I have forwarded.

Now, I have booked my ticket for 10th Nov and it is KLM. My questions are :

1. Can I still get my Visa approved this week (15days)

2. How long does it take to get a transit VISA?

3. How can I change my flight ticket if my Visa fails to come out this week.

This waiting is killing me ohhhh. I need your advice.

Thanks

I can answer a few of your questions
2. Re transit visa- 2 days when my sister did it
3. Re changing flight ticket - yes very possible you can change it , pay difference in fare or class depending on the new date, if you did a flexible booking you can get a full refund, just make sure you don’t try to change on the day of the flight so you don’t get to pay a no-show plus the fare difference.
1. Re visa approval- anything is a possibility, I myself I’m hoping for 15 days. Just brace up.

The Uk is a country that likes you to discharge burden of proof , please put anything that you think will help your application, I remember many years ago when I was a dependent of my mom we will take property docs and co for the application, later we stopped taking it because we be regular customer and I also want to believe they have copies of what you submit everytime.
