Johncables402: How stupid and xenophobic you sound. The same blacks you call lazy have fought against white men to win rights that you still don’t have in a country ran by black men. |

Johncables402: The lie you just told proves that you have never stepped foot on American soil, White Worshipper. The guts you have to say such when you don’t know the difference between BEEN and BEING. The same black Americans that you disparage are the ones that speak up when white men openly call you scammers, monkeys, and witch doctors while you stand up and smile at their insults like a brainless zombie. If the WHITES love you so much, why do they try so hard to keep you from entering their country? WHY do they turn you around at point of entry and laugh because you spent all of your money to travel here? If they loved you then they would give you refugee status and benefits like they do Mexicans. I am glad that my Nigerian parent was born with brains instead of a porridge-filled head like you. You are the kind of bootlicker that the white people openly make jokes about. 3 Likes |

Newton85: Read what you are replying to before replying, that might help you to understand the substance of what you are talking about before talking in a void. If you believe a comment of mine to be inaccurate, kindly point to it and share your reservations. Throwing blind insults because you do not like someone's comment regardless of its truthfulness... that is childish and shows lack of mental stability (just my guess, I am not a psychiatrist). It seems you believe yourself to be a psychiatrist, that is yet an other of your delusions. 2 Likes |

Newton85: Please learn the meaning of the word "revisionism", stating facts do not fall in that category however unpleasing the facts are to your ears. I see you are still deluding yourself by believing you are a psychiatrist. Learn how to be composed and open minded instead of a dogma driven and emotionally wrecked male adult. |

Truthvalue3:Claiming that some "Jebu Kingdom is was a vassal to Benin" is not only some spurious revisionist claptrap but also a codeine-influenced ahistorical poppycock. I have zero tolerance for clowns who make shit up out of their own delusional asses. |

Newton85:Book published in 1845 which clearly stated that a writer "George Robert" who had visited the region prior to the visit of the author of this book, considers the kingdom of Jaboo to be a vassal to Benin. (Page16) https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k62093119/f26.texteImage You have a lot to learn, kid. Stop with the arrogance and jingoism, focus on actual brain activity. I am not interested in chest-beating, rather history is where my interests lay here. So please go back to learning the basics and hope you will be at my level some day. Good luck.

Truthvalue3: Typical ! You're nothing but just another emotional blabber who is incapable of having a decent discourse that is devoid of senseless tantrums ! The highlighted parts of your gibberish has actually given you away as a toddler who is only attempting to dabble into a subject matter that's far beyond his elementary pedigree ! Anyway, when you get over your childish emotions,I recommend you consult your elders at home to learn some history. You're a disgrace to whatever culture you represent; you know nothing ! Oranmiyan,Oduduwa, now let me add these : Sango,Ogun,Osun,Obatala, and others, are just "fairytales",they did not exist, according to you. Mumu, but you believe some foreign " fairytales" characters in whatever "holy" book you hold very dearly to your gullible heart, right ? You're the slowest of all slowpokes, kiddo ! Ogisos were your rulers before Oranmiyan arrived at "Ile Ibinu". Your elders at home will confirm it. Ogisos existed, stop being stupid and so also did all those great African personalities you mentioned ! About Yoruba being obsessed with Edo or whatever you call yourselves, that exists only in your widest imagination, boy ! Obsessed with what exactly, please ? The fact is that most Yoruba don't know about the existence of any "Edo" as a tribe and that's why they regard almost everybody east of Yoruba land as Igbo or "Ibo" as they call them. You better come down from your high horse, most Yoruba are not aware of your one-state tribe ! You raised some very laughable points up there that I will not even bother to respond to because,as I said earlier, they can best be described as gibberish. The history of Oyo Empire;its glory, influence and geographical spread is well documented and it's readily accessible on the internet. So,why should I bother to educate any blockhead that has chosen to remain dumb ? And about Ile Ife,there are hundreds of civilisations, cultures and people from all over the world - Africa,Americas,Caribbeans etc who lay claim to Ile Ife as their source (of origin)! The ancient city of Ife has been in existence for hundreds of years before your first Ogiso was even born ! Osilalu,Ayegbeni,Akogun,Idowu,Tunde,Oyegun etc are all Yoruba names wherever they may be found and no Yoruba actually cares even if the bearer of those names choose not to see themselves as Yoruba. The fact is that those and many more Yoruba names are being used outside of Yoruba land and they are majorly found in your beloved Edo - my point essentially ! Let me leave you with this point : Oranmiyan was the founder of Eweka dynasty in Benin kingdom and they still rule till today in Benin. Any Oba of Benin that's of Eweka dynasty is not a Bini man; he is a Yoruba man and that's a fact ! I'm done with you. Now,go and suck mama breast as your mouth still reeks of it ! You won't get further response from me on this. |

VEHINTOLAR: It is weird how obviously emotional people would call others emotional. I submitted facts, these guy tells me to go and consult with old people... You don't have logics, you have a combination of jingoism, dogma and ignorance. Your desperation to claim the emperor of Benin makes my point once again, you people are obsessed with Benin. It is weird that you dare to claim you and your people know nothing about Benin, yet you still claim to be authority figures in the heritage of the emperor of Benin. And of of course your sources is a bunch of fairytales which your brain is not strong enough to identify as fictions. Let me make this clear: there is nobody on earth whom is more Edo than the Oba of Benin. It is impossible by definition. Once again: One day, I would need someone to explain to me why the yoruba are so obsessed with us Edo. 1) Ogiso, oduduwa, oranmiyan are fairytales, none of them ever existed. 2) Ife was a small settlement until 1912 when the British started urbanizing Ife. 3) Benin was an empire whose capital is Benin city. 4) there is no established link between Benin empire and Ife village, all we keep hearing are made up stories being told by people who couldn't possibly have witnessed what they are talking about. 5) we are not yoruba ! Leave us alone ! Our ethnicity, if you must know, it is called Edo. And, if you must know, Edo-State was named after us, not the reverse, whereas our ethnic group goes way beyond Edo-State. But outsiders like you who lack the wisdom and the patience to learn correctly will always keep confusing everything about us. Learn this: we have several languages, but only one emperor whose title is "Oba" and he lives in Benin city. 6) yoruba is a word whose meaning keeps changing: first it was spelled yarrib.a and it was an other name for oyo kingdom, then when slaves were being dumped on the shores of what we now call southwest Nigeria, the word was corrupted to yoruba by the Europeans and it applied to the slave returnees, dahomians, oyo and a few others while the Europeans still referred to the oyos as "yoruba proper" and still referred to the few others added to the list with their respective ethnicities. The politics of colonial and post colonial Nigeria once again changed the meaning of the word (yoruba) into all of the people of the southwest geopolitical zone and anybody with similar language to any of those groups. Well you get the point, yoruba is an artificial construct, whereas Benin is a historical reality. There is a bight of Benin, but no bight of yoruba, there was Benin empire, but no Ife empire nor any yoruba empire, there was a war between Benin and Britain, no such between yoruba and Britain. Now leave us alone, thank you ! Summary: no group of indigenous people within Edo-State is yoruba, actually the entire Edo-state falls withing the old Benin Kingdom whose people are called Edo. |

Truthvalue3:There was no "Jebu Kingdom" that was a "vassal" to Benin. Who was the King of this "Jebu kingdom" and who was the king of Benin when this "Jebu kingdom" was its vassal? Let Ijebu people catch you. |

Truthvalue3:Some unknown "writer" called George Robert from some obscure book "considers" Ijebu people to be a vassal of Benin? In 1845? Amnd And Ijebu history and historians never recorded such a time that Ijebu was a "vassal" to Benin? How was Ijebu a "vassal" of Benin? Who was the king of Ijebu when it was a "vassal of Benin" and who was the king of Benin. Ijebu that was the last Yoruba enclave to fall to the British was a "vassal" of Benin? You're a monumental clown! |

My exchanges with you end here. Now you can go and seek a mental health professional to help you cushion this unpleasant reality. |

Johncables402: Only in your dreams, Sir. Maybe if you tell yourself that enough, you’ll start to believe it. You are not a US citizen let alone a first class one and I doubt that you’ve ever visited the US. Let’s place a wager: Upload a copy of your US passport or a copy of a US visa with passport stamps and I’ll deposit some cash in your account. |

Johncables402: First for starters, I was born in the US to a Nigerian father and Black American mother so that fact eradicates the “get there” portion of your mad question. Instead of joining “black gangs”, I joined Bar Associations because I’m a practicing attorney and am highly revered in my field. Black Americans do not hate me nor have I ever been mistreated by any, in fact you are using speech loaded with more vitriol than any have ever used towards me. You sound hostile, bitter, and jealous as a person who is obviously delusional about the thought processes of both White and Black Americans. It is obvious that all of your knowledge of both groups comes from media stereotypes. Turn off the television, get a passport, see things first hand, and stop embarrassing yourself. God bless your ignorant soul. |
