Good morning lovely members of Nairaland Forum! Happy new month to you all! Guess you guys are doing well. As for me, I'm not doing well as I woke up with messages from hacker this morning. The hacker who gave his name as Royal has gained full access to my Facebook account. He's threatening me to pay the sum of 40k before he can release my Facebook Account back to me. See his message below: Hope is yours ? The account is in serious discussion now weather to edit or to sell it out or to meet the right owner... I have tried to login to my Facebook account but no access. He has changed the phone numbers and email attached to the account. My question is this: What's the assurance of him not selling or hacking the account again even if I pay him? Currently, I haven't replied his messages. Please help me out gurus in the house. He's a hungry scammer. Give him the account. You're alive, you can always create a new one and reach out to the contacts you can remember. He won't release the account to u even after u make the payment. Trust me nobody will buy a facebook account for 40k, even the so-called yahoo boys, the highest they can pay for an account is 10k. Also stop giving ur phone to every dick, tom and harry to set for u, and be mindful of links u click on. Just forget the account, and don't relate with anybody on nairaland or anywhere, he's just a wannabe hacker, you clicked on a phishing link, and exposed your details, your account is gone, nobody can help you. And stop using Facebook ffs. 23 Likes |

If you had your email saved. You may get a message that your account was logged in somewhere else (should the hacker remove the email, it will still work). A message containing "your account has been logged in, if you did not do this click here" Or, use the device frequently accessing your account Go to Facebook, select forgotten password, find my account, retrieve reset code from email, phone or friends or I don't have access to these, select I don't have access to these. 27 Likes 1 Share |
