How much do you think you need?

Tuition is 262,000 SEK + other fees like the application fee, visa processing, logistics among others...

Focus on the application fee and work towards getting a scholarship. If it doesn't work, then abandon.

Please guys, I am also about to start application for admission. But with some testimonies here, i am really scared. I need partner-in-progress. May we not end up from frying pan to Fire.

Congratulations Ebim and Lioneze. We anxiously await your memoirs.

I have to stress this out once more. Sweden is an amazing country with its own issues. If you know you can afford studying in an English speaking country please please move there as it’s easier to mingle around and integrate in the system better and faster.

Sweden is tough as Bleep, level of depression is sky rocketing day after day, people hardly integrate here and the job market is somewhat difficult if you don’t speak the language or know people that know people.

To be frank I won’t encourage someone I know personally to move to Sweden, if he/she is coming for a program that won’t yield any employment. Programs that I have seen give foreigners good paying jobs here are IT related programs and Engineering programs other than that you go hear am for Sweden.

I’m tired of seeing graduates in Sweden working as cleaners and warehouse workers, abeg before applying for your studies here do your research well.

That’s nice, but the question we all keep asking.
Why are you still in sweden and not UK or canada or US.
Even if you’re a citizen, I believe you’ll still be affected right since you’re not pure swedish.
Or are you in the IT/Engineering department?
Why didn’t your parents move to other english speaking country?
It’s good to let people know what they are coming into, but do not discourage anyone as those english speaking countries are not easy for some people.
A lot of Nigerians are bursting their brains to learn french just so they can enter canada, why can’t they do the same with Swedish language.

Or better still come back to Nigeria, let someone else take your place there

Go on with your application my brother, don't be discouraged. Remember you're not only one that is going there. Nigerians are there and they're doing well. although it might not be easy at first, but things will always go well at time goes on. Just believe you will make it there. Is just for a moment. After finishing your program, or probably after certain years you know, you can relocate to any country of your choice then. It just a matter of DETERMINATION.

Except you have enough funds to go to UK, US, or Canada Sha..

Just an advice

God will help us all

I have some questions to ask
Please, can I go with my wife? Can she join me as a dependent?
Which schools are open for January or February?
I will like some of the cheapest schools
And how is their visa process?
Thanks all

We thought that we had finally gotten an updated thread about Swedish admissions and student visa until the the OP was involved in copy right controversy that led to the thread being deleted.

In the hope to keep the journey alive, admission decisions have been released today 9th April, 2021 and our people can share their experiences here.

As for me, I received admission to my first ranked school, Umea University MSc in Accounting while other choices were automatically deleted.
Pls how can I apply for admission into swedish universities from Nigeria
Re: Swedish Admissions And Student Visa by Nobody: 7:20pm On Nov 03, 2021
You literally answered your question, yeah I’m Swede and yeah I speak fluent and have a good paying job.

I am not discouraging anyone is an open discussion and I can say my mind and tell people how it really is here.

If you are bothered with what I wrote just pass by and don’t comment.

Hi brethren. I applied to Sweden last year but could not not proceed due to the exorbitant fees. Now I want to apply again, hoping to get at least tuition waiver. I want to ask if I will need to send another official transcript again?

chai. Alright . Thank you. Also I realised I mistakenly chosed Upsala University as my first choice instead of a low profile University. Which universities do you think the chances of getting the tuition waiver will be higher?

According to university admissions you don't have to....

I love your brief insight regarding the possibilities of integrating in Sweden as a foreigner, it's better to be aware of the issues before going

CBN told them sell to one-way ticket only if the customer is on scholarship. Again, they don't even sell to those who possess Resident permit, only visas.
