The hacker who gave his name as Royal has gained full access to my Facebook account. He's threatening me to pay the sum of 40k before he can release my Facebook Account back to me.

I have tried to login to my Facebook account but no access. He has changed the phone numbers and email attached to the account.

My question is this: What's the assurance of him not selling or hacking the account again even if I pay him?

Currently, I haven't replied his messages.

Please help me out gurus in the house.

If na me, would bait the blackmailer... if I manage to identify him, he would NEVER try it again.

This is a simple case.... Report the account to Facebook.... Tell your friends and contacts to help you report it..... In that way.... The hacker will loose access to the account and Facebook will now ask for documents to prove ownership......

Don't pay him a dime... And NEVER USE YOUR PHONE NUMBERS AS FACEBOOK PASSWORD... THATS THE EASIEST WAY TO HACK YOU..... THE GUY IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL.....

Go to the email u used in registering the mail.

Facebook would have sent you a notification that your account details has been changed.. if it was you.. ok. If it wasnt you, "Safe guard" your account by clicking this link........

Once you do. Follow instructions.

Supply your National ID card or international passport data page as means of identification.

Dont let no scammer scam you. Those hackers are on the lose.

Not a hacker per say. He is someone you know or a friend of a friend.

Stop using phone numbers and common emails to log into fb

I have deleted Facebook over 5 years ago.
So I can kukuma never have the issue.

You made it clear that you attached a mail to the account. If its true, fear not.
Check your email, follow the message sent to you by Facebook that tells you your password or anything has been changed.
Block the account and later follow the process of retrieving it back.

What was the primary email you used to open that fb acct no matter how he clear your details he can never clear ur primary email except u used number instead of email

If you had your email saved. You may get a message that your account was logged in somewhere else (should the hacker remove the email, it will still work).

A message containing "your account has been logged in, if you did not do this click here"

Or, use the device frequently accessing your account

Go to Facebook, select forgotten password, find my account, retrieve reset code from email, phone or friends or I don't have access to these, select I don't have access to these.

This will work only if he used a different password for his email.

I always advise my friends to open any account with email and use a different password,you can easily retrieve it whenever it is hack.
