The Uk is a country that likes you to discharge burden of proof , please put anything that you think will help your application, I remember many years ago when I was a dependent of my mom we will take property docs and co for the application, later we stopped taking it because we be regular customer and I also want to believe they have copies of what you submit everytime.

Okay, just that our lands and House are in the village. No paper work on dem. Just wandering if that will cause any hitch

You'll choose a centre after you've submitted the filled form and they redirect you to TLS website.

So, just go on, you'll meet it when it's time. It's not confusing.

Please do I need to take TB test for visit/ tourist visa?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by esdajo: 9:15pm On Oct 31, 2021
Good evening everyone and happy Sunday. I booked an accommodation for only 3 days and I have already filled in the name and address of the place on the visa form online. I was subsequently advised to book an accommodation for the entire duration of the stay before submitting the application. The challenge now is that I am unable to extend the booking period for that particular hotel. Should I cancel it and book another one despite having filled something different on the already-submitted visa application form online or should I address this in the cover letter? Please advise on how to go about this. Thanks in anticipation.

Good morning all. Please can I pay/book for an appointment while am yet to fill my application. I'm still filling my application for a standard visa but someone suggested I could secure an appointment date before that is completed

red flag. You have to have proof of where you are staying for the FULL duration of the trip. Not 3 days. If u decide to cancel your application, you can. The money will be returned within 28 working days while u go on to fill another

BA, gave me a book on hold in December 2019 for 24hrs to pay in Gtbank Plc then.
Debbieeeeeee:

Most airlines except for BA accepts for you to book on hold. You can also book with your travel agent , or book on wakanow / travelstart

That was then, I also used to use the book on hold option on their website, you can try a dummy booing right now , it’s no longer available except if you call the numbers someone earlier provided on the thread.

Anyone still waiting for standard visiting visa decision since September 2nd?

I have emailed and called UKVI several times. My case has been 'escalated' since October 18 and I got a message from UKVI that my application is undergoing assessment on October 26.

My tired is tired already.

Yes, you would need to call the BA Nigeria number and you pay about $200 to book on hold for you.

Abeg my people that have travelled to the UK recently. Do we still need to do a predeparture PCR test before departing Nigeria for the UK?

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Mzyetty: 8:26pm On Nov 01, 2021
I dont know how nairaland works but it really helped my sanity. I did my biometrics on the 6th of September and I just got tls pick up mail today to pick up after 40 working days. It affected me badly no lies but I thank God for his mercies.

I kept checking nairaland to see people's comment that we were in the same boat.

I picked up a few names. @owenjegede @coopfortune @esdajo, don't lose hope, yours will come soon.

Thank you all.
