I need a recommendation of a reliable decoder that can get CNN, CBS reality, BBC, aljazeera, mbc and local channels like channels TV. Can l also use the lnb that comes with the dish or l need to change it to fta compliant? Thanks guys. I need suggestions from the house.

The dish is facing the sky at SE direction. I tried to track first with cband lnb but did not hit green then I changed to Ku band yet did not hit green.

What am I doing wrong please? The only thing I suspect now are my cables.

No. I am actually after the local channels on Cband. AIT, TVC, WAP etc.

HA. You can't get that signal with 1.8m in the east. That was how someone was trying to get Televista with 2.5m but could not. Sometimes you will see www.lngsat.com displaying lower dish for a particular signal but it's not always accurate.

I have it on south south here, precisely Akwa Ibom state, so you follow it gently, you will get it.

The price is reasonable considering that they are installers that will even do it for N1500 or 2k.

Track 5e ku first with a ku lnb, then change to cband lnb, input the frequency and adjust the dish

I think Penuelseun has answered you. Remember that with 5e, your dish is facing the sky directly.
Install your C band LNB and use TVC frequency and symbol rate (3701H, 5000SR). Skew ur LNB initially
at the 2 o'clock position, if it doesn't work, use 10 o' clock position. Move slowly from west to east while
gently rocking your dish up and down. Be patient and you will hit signal.
