This is madness, paying such amount of money for an advanced barracks building. Why can't those who subscribed to these apartments go and buy a piece of land in ikoyi themselves build their own choices there. In this country money have made some people to be stupid. Like what my grand mother always told me. She said to me my son dream big but don't take your dream too far as some dreams could be expresasway to the grave and great danger. 7 Likes 1 Share |

otipoju: So people will be working in a building and they will allow people to carry out a controlled demolition in the building almost 100 workers are working on Sometimes you have to read what you want to type on a public forum again and again before you click post 8 Likes 1 Share |

JaskanFactor:I noticed this from the pictures too, the slabs neatly piled on another, and one can easily tell it's from different floors. If it's a controlled demolition the residue of the explosives would still be found within the rubble. Till then, I'll just go with the already circulating corner cutting, substandard materials theory. 1 Like |

Which apartment is $5m? This one in a dirty, third world country with no amenities ,you are literally providing even water and power yourself, dirty street with port holes and traffic with hold ups . People don't have taste This property in dubai goes for less than 450k usd With every basic things ,social amenities ,beautiful city . I laugh when those that live in Lagos think they are living in a mega city lol, landlord travel and see dre11: 2 Likes 1 Share

kingphilip: They claim it was 65% sold so you know this man will disappear with the remaining. My question is what is wrong with Nigerians that you are making all this money but would not use good quality materials to build so you don’t kill people and your own destiny? 1 Like |

delzbaba: He would have been more grounded if he had made effort to gentrify places like surulere or orile. You can't have expensive apartments like that in Lagos when the majority are living in a near slum and unimaginable conditions. Like those children that sang the national anthem in the lagoon. If you dig deep into the background of that business, you may learn that traitors like tinubu are big financiers of that project. 7 Likes |

This building didn't collapse on Friday, Saturday or Sunday but had to collapse on Monday when the Engineers were meeting. Hmm, I hope this matter is thoroughly investigated and someone is held accountable. I suspect an aggrieved Engineer or contractor caused it. |
