Hi gurus in the house, I have a question that needs urgent answer; If a student in the Uk that applied as a single decides to go back to Nigeria for Registry in order to bring in his or her dependant. Will marriage certificate from any Nigerian registry be accepted for visa or must it be IKOYI registry certificate alone? Has anyone one used certificate from other registry and got their visa without stress?

Done with my TB test. And my POF should be ready by November 27. Please what and what should I send to Coventry for them to issue me CAS. Actually I paid an initial 8k pounds for my school fees. Any Coventry uni guru in the house.

I need help please. I plan to apply for my student visa in November and I'm supposed to have my court wedding sometime in December. I want to know if there would be issues applying for my husband when we get married in december as I filled on the form that I am single.

Do I need to write a letter of explanation? Or do I simply just wait till I get the visa then apply for my dependant. I dont want any troubles for him. Thank you

1. You need to provide their birth certificate and a copy of the death certificate of your late husband when applying for them. Optionally you can also add a letter from their school confirming that you have sole responsibility for them.

2. It would not be easy but It is not impossible. You must remember that it is a breach of UK laws to leave them alone at home because they are minors. If you have to go somewhere without them, they must be in school or with a caregiver/ babysitter which costs are not easy, so factor that into your financial planning.

If your mum is still alive and strong, perhaps you can bring her over to assist with their care when you are at work or school.

1.) For my 3years old son, in his document check list, they are asking for parents consent letter. Is it required?. If yes please send format.

I have nothing to hide, i'm just asking for clarification sake. I already have an affidavit backing the mistake that was made on my passport years back before now that i have made the correction.. The only thing i'm asking is to know if i'm gonna include the whole information about my previous record.

1: Do I need to submit current employment details( employment letter or payslips) to support my student visa application or only what is stated on my cas?

2: what documents does my spouse have to submit as a dependent to support his application?

You have nothing to worry about, a friend of mine got married 2nd week of September and applied for student visa end of September and they got the visa on priority service. They are currently in the UK

On the contrary, it's good to have it just in case, Some recruitment agencies do ask for it. My wife in applying through an agency was asked for it. She had to scan it and send it to them. I did not need it either as the organisation I applied to do their own checks. My advice is for folks to have it. Yes it expires in three months but before it expires it can be very relevant. My two cents
