Thank you . But I am worried, a lot has gone into this process. Also my colleagues that did a bit earlier than me got their visas in 15 working days, some less than that. Also I'm a first timer

|

Hello house; I'll be getting my leave next month and I'm planning to visit UK. For tourism. I have other requirements. But I'd like to know if Tax clearance Is important to submit? And my company doesn't issue payslips. They pay directly to my account. Do you guys think that will be enough? Thanks in advance. |

If you have tax clearance add it and if you don’t proof to them you have sufficient income to cover your trip and enough balance that will be enough for your expenses when you return to Nigeria, your bank statement, employment letter, leave approval letter and every other thing that is showing your relationship with the company is enough evidence that you are employed to the company. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello house, I just came across this thread and it's exciting to see lots of people have gotten their visa already. Please I am in the process of applying online. But I will consider myself as a novice, yes I have read somethings and documents I'll need but I'm not convinced that I know it all. I really don't want to make a mistake, or atleast get denied due to my mistake. Hence I'll plead for the assistance of the pro in the house, someone who's already gone the route and succeeded, I will love to follow your steps, not copy you but get an idea of what you did. Anyone whole help please? I won't mind contacting you via WhatsApp. Help me. |

Hi there. Send a pm. However, you still need to go back to some of the previous posts on this forum to have a general idea so you can ask specific questions. Beedollas: |

Congratulations to those who recently got their visas , this thread is really helpful and informative for the novice and the informed alike however I notice people are not really sharing the documents submitted to get visas it’s kind of going discreet sort of. I will urgent people like musty, cutiella, mzyetty et al to share their documents or something unique or whatever that’s related to their applications so that members can tap one or two things and adapt it to their own applications? We are all here to learn so let’s keep the vibes going pls. 3 Likes |

Would suggest you go the priority route as a lot of people seem to be applying for visas this time around unless you don’t mind if the visa is issued later than anticipated. You can always travel some other time anyways. Evagreenfields: 1 Like |

Hi Rebless, I uploaded the below; Introduction from my work place, confirmation letter, leave approval, 6 months pay slip, 6 months salary statement, 6 months savings account statement and my piggyvest statement. Balance in all accounts summed up to abt N1.5million. I belong to a thrift/cooperative where i make contributions monthly, so i got a letter from them stating my total contributions year to date (got the idea somewhere on this thread). I also attached the contract of a running investment. All of these debits (investment and cooperative) can be seen in my Savings account statement, which i listed and explained in my cover letter. I transferred my savings from my piggybank to my savings account (because i read on this thread that someone's visa was refused for financial reasons, even though she had enough funds in her piggyvest account, of which she attached the statement). I felt it was going to stick out as unexplained deposit, that was why i attached my piggybank statement, then i explained in my cover letter that i moved the funds so as to access it once visa was approved. I also attached my sponsors One Month Bank statement, proof of address, BRP, introduction letter explaining our relationship and University registration letter as he is a student. Would be happy to provide further clarifications to any more enquiry rebless: 1 Like |

Kenneth417:Always read a question twice so as to understand properly,Number 4 asked you “PERSONALLY”. Meanwhile even as a student, you probably have a bank account with small savings in it so think about that before you answer number 3. |

Hello all. I'm a health care worker in the UK, living with my husband. We want to apply for visiting visa for my mom. She is 62 Not earning, no pension, no documents to prove house ownership as they are in the village. What documents do we need to submit? I already know we should include our payslips, proof of accommodation in the UK, my birth certificate, Bank statement.. And please how much should I have in my account to be able to prove I can take care of her? Should we also put zero if asked how much she will spend or put on the trip. Is there any need to prove home ties to convince home office she will return concerning her age? I will appreciate answers. |

hi sir, thank you for your response. shamefully, i have tried getting a hang on how to send you a pm but not succeeded :- however i have gone through the thread and will like to drop my status for the gurus in the house to help put me on the right track. I am a widow with two children age 4 and 6 years old, it has been a hectic 4 years for me since my husband died. I have been struggling with high blood pressure, depression and other health challenges due to emotional distress. my kids are finally old enough to stay with my mom for atleast 3 weeks without me, and i wanted to use this opportunity to take a break, a well deserved vacation My brother inlaw has offered to sponsor me on the trip so i plan on going to uk under tourist visa on the 18th of December if im granted Visa. I do business, and my 12 months bank statement is currently over 3m, although the ending balance is zero lolx. i do not have a registered company and dont have any trace of salary paid to my account, except money i make from sales... this made me opt for unemployment while filling the form to avoid me fumbling when asked to defend my funds. question 1 ... will the unemployment status affect my application, being that ill be 100% sponsored by my inlaw? 2 what documents does my inlaw have to give as my sponsor? 3 will i need any document to proof that i was married / widowed? if yes, please what documents do i need to submit? 4 Do i also need to proof that i have kids, as my tie? if yes what documents of my kids do i need to submit? 5 i plan to stay in a hotel for the whole period (3 weeks) because i dont know anyone in uk, will this be a problem? 6 is it to late to apply for a standard Visa now, knowing that i want to travel on the 18th after my children school term closes? 7 if yes to no 6, is it advisable to apply for a priority on a vacation? what will be my reason for the rush? 8 my hotel and flight already is at a million naira, and i wanted to add 300k for other expenses as food, transportation, tour and shopping for my kids, making it a total of 1.3m for the trip, considering this, how much does my inlaw need to be earning or have in his account to be on a safe side? 9 please a page on the application form asked "why are they sponsoring you"? is this where im supposed to write my self introduction letter? and is it compulsory? 10 finally please i read that im supposed to write in detail my itinerary through out my stay, stating in detail how ill be spending the whole 3 weeks attaching cost and names of places ill be visiting, which will have to sum upto my total estimated expenses, is this information correct? if no, please what do i need to do in that regard. I will also appreciate any information or a pointer as to how I can make my letter of explanation convincing . Any good writter in the house? God bless you all as i anticipate clarification. esdajo: 1 Like |
