Bola146: Are you the one that will cater for the children when she gives birth to them? Bringing innocent children to the world to come and suffer should not be encouraged. We have bandits, Boko Haram, hoodlums, armed robbers and kidnappers. One of the Genesis of all these listed terrors in our society is as a result of unplanned children born into poverty. |

Why write stuffs to make her feel dejected/condemned. This is a wrong approach For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:17) ** To everyone reading this, God loves you and he's not angry at you, no matter the mistakes you might have made in the past, don't feel dejected. Evangelynn: Do these developed countries hold the standard code on how the human race should run? Are there no social issues they are battling with despite their development or are you saying they have an utopian society? Even so, there are a whole lot of them from these countries who are against abortion and are pro-life, their governments legalized abortion (just like many other issues we frown at are legal over there). Abortion is deliberately killing and terminating a pregnancy that otherwise would have been successful. The heart of an embryo starts beating with blood cells formed as early as week 5 of gestation (about a week after your missed period) when most women are not even aware that they are pregnant. If that pregnancy progresses, and is successful, the heart that started beating at 5wks may continue to beat till the child becomes an old person; and by then that heart can stop beating, not by a decision between the mother and her doctor. Abortion may be recommended in situations where the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother or if the feotus formed may have major health issues if allowed to live. Not for every Tom, Dick, Harry kind of reasons. We should rather encourage people to be responsible with their sexuality. It is not just about unwanted pregnancies, it is also about STDs some of which are life long. You can't keep making innocent fetuses pay for the irresponsibilities of their mothers (or parents). If a lady thinks about her own life and how she's not capable of handling a baby now, she should rather opts for safe sex that will also prevent pregnancy. Contraceptives: physical, hormonal, whatever; just don't make a baby's heart start beating and then end it at will just because it's your body and your government supports you. If there's a baby around you, look at him or her and imagine that child had been killed in the womb and taken out because the mum is pro choice. Now imagine op stopping two heart beats because of the challenges she facing now. Enuf said. 2 Likes |

AdedoyinO:They have a better society than Nigeria, they don't hold the standard code but they are more humane and less hypocrites than Nigerians. Even so, there are a whole lot of them from these countries who are against abortion and are pro-life, their governments legalized abortion (just like many other issues we frown at are legal over there)Who cares about the views they hold, the Koko is that their government is very realistic and majority of them support legalising abortion. Abortion is deliberately killing and terminating a pregnancy that otherwise would have been successful. The heart of an embryo starts beating with blood cells formed as early as week 5 of gestation (about a week after your missed period) when most women are not even aware that they are pregnantLol,do you know that miscarriages are natural abortions and that not all pregnancies will always come to term?do you also know that some embryos have birth defects and diseases hence abortion is sometimes recommended? abortion is sometimes necessary and even at that no child asked to be born and the mother's life and opinion or choice is more important than that of the foetus anyone or the government leave that decision for a woman and her doctor. If that pregnancy progresses, and is successful, the heart that started beating at 5wks may continue to beat till the child becomes an old person; and by then that heart can stop beating, not by a decision between the mother and her doctorI have already replied this and I will reiterate again no child asked to be born, and a woman's life is more important than the foetus hence why till date many countries make exceptions for abortions when the woman's life is in danger or she suffered from a rape because they know how traumatic it can be it remains a decision between a woman and her doctor. Abortion may be recommended in situations where the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother or if the feotus formed may have major health issues if allowed to live. Not for every Tom, Dick, Harry kind of reasons.Hence why it must be legalized and realistic to social and economic issues. We should rather encourage people to be responsible with their sexuality. It is not just about unwanted pregnancies, it is also about STDs some of which are life longLol,the same hypocritical Nigeria that single women find it hard to access birth control pills or men are hardly encouraged to have vasectomies and be more sexually responsible,is it the same Nigeria where some frown at birth control and birth control is not even cheap and easily abortion is a form of health care and birth control too for some although it may be arguable. You can't keep making innocent fetuses pay for the irresponsibilities of their mothers (or parents). The so called innocent foetuses didn't ask to be born neither should they suffer coming into a poor/malnourished family or cursed with parents who are not well prepared to have them the foetus deserves better and the woman and man who you claim are irresponsible have every right to decide for themselves what they want and the choices they choose to make should be up to them.So because they are irresponsible according to you they should be burdened to have kids they will not be responsible for are you listening to yourself?do you think parenting is easy or they automatically become responsible after having children abi?Why should women be termed irresponsible by you but you fail to hold men accountable as well or na the woman sleep with herself alone? If a lady thinks about her own life and how she's not capable of handling a baby now, she should rather opts for safe sex that will also prevent pregnancy. Contraceptives: physical, hormonal, whatever; just don't make a baby's heart start beating and then end it at will just because it's your body and your government supports youWell how about the man being a part of the safe sex too or do you forget that safe sex isn't always safe also do you know that statistically in countries where abortion is legalised the abortion rate is low because their health care system is better and they have better and easier access to birth control and sex education is well taught in hypocritical Nigeria they find it hard to talk about sex and even try to deceive themselves that unmarried people don't have sex so they don't even discuss these issues with unmarried folks. If there's a baby around you, look at him or her and imagine that child had been killed in the womb and taken out because the mum is pro choice.Lol this emotional nonsense blackmail doesn't work with me, the only time I can be touched is when I see children begging and hawking or even suffering, looking malnourished and denied basic access if their parents easily accessed family planning methods and abortion they wouldn't be on the streets begging or be subject to abuse and oppression and taken advantage of by wicked humans. What you ended up saying if you look at the bigger picture is that those children you say I should look at their parents are very capable to take care of them and made a choice to be responsible in all areas for them nobody should be forced or burdened to carry a child they cannot cater for or be well responsible to care for. Now imagine op stopping two heart beats because of the challenges she facing now.She would be doing the heart beats a favour they never asked to be born and it would be much worse if they are born into poverty, lack emotional, mental, financial and other basic care and access children need that is worse than death.I would rather support abortions than see children suffer, abused and taken into slavery or neglected by parents, society and government abortion isn't just a religious or emotional issue it is a social and economic one that isn't solved by sentiments but actual work.In many countries where abortion is legal, abortion rate is low because the social and economic issues in those countries are well resolved, some of the people against abortion because of religion don't support family planning or all kinds of family planning and unlike some countries birth control is easy to access while in your country nor so much because health care especially reproductive care for women and children isn't prioritised. Here in Nigeria abortion is reportedly on the increase and it is dangerous because it is unsafe and handled by quacks because it is not legalised. 1 Like |

mariahAngel: Shey you will feed the mother and the child...you keeping giving emotionally, illogical solution to a very logical problem, if she gives birth to the child, omor am sure the price of Pampers and other babies stufs will actually force her to suicide in the long run...just yesterday my mom had to rush to her hospital for a child delivery in the quest of this, the mother had severe complications after, due to lack of blood bank around the hospital had to rush her to a private clinic and I am swearing to God the family of the woman had to pay 95k just that night, note that was after the child birth delivery being a son to a nurse I do hear of stories where mother give birth when twins is involve and due to complications can't give birth again she might be a victim of this too and some have had several abortion and yet give birth to many kids, it is obvious she is not mentally and emotionally to go through why you tryna force her to this probably cos of your personal sentiment and which it obvious you're not even ready to foot her bills...am not advocating for abortion and am not ruling it out either...depends on her personal sentiments if am to advice I will go with mercychen advice now she had to pay the price for her stupid decision in whatever ways it comes. Disclaimer; I know you're reputed for insult on NL, but biko if you cannot engage in a logical and civil argument biko just pass. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Astrid4: If it depended on her "personal sentiments" as you say, why then did she bring it here, asking for what to do? Have you considered that there's the option of adoption if she's not ready to keep the babies? Or you don't think the babies she carrying deserve the chance to live? |
Re: I’m Pregnant With Twins And The Father Doesn’t Want Them. by Nobody: 9:49pm On Nov 04, 2021 |
Astrid4: God bless you for doing justice to this matter with detailed points. I couldnt have said it any better. This here was exactly my point. See the other 17 yr old girl who was abandoned at the hospital because the father of her twin babies ran away and her family could not pay the bills. Who will now bear the cost? Has anyone of them showing empathy behind their keypads sent her a dime till now? Thats what I'm saying. Certain things can be avoided. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Moredays78: I'm sorry if you feel disappointed by my comment but one thing you should know is this. I will never try to bend the truth in favor of a group of people just because they think otherwise or sugar-coat immoral acts in order to get people's approval. I'll keep speaking against it until every one gets their acts together and begin to do things right. 1 Like |
