Please kindly help me out, I'm now on point of booking an appointment now now please what time and what package is free ? Because when I click on different time it's showing premium does that mean I will pay for it?

Please what's free time ? Also I'm opt to self service
What prime time appointment mean?

Please what's you have selected a premium appointment for 14:00 on? Is that free time

I want a free time that I will go for my biometric

Pls help

Prime time appointment is only an option for upgrade so 14:00 you’re on the track.. you’ll see an amount you’re being charged at the basket make sure your service charge is 00:00 Naira

Gentlesoul premium is not free you’ll have to pay and with the crowd in ikeja now , if you don’t mind spending the whole day there , I’ll say pay for prime time, do your thing early morning before the influx and leave

Nawa ooo thx very much Debbie, please how much is prime time and from what time to time is the prime time

I have click prime time for 8:00 on November 11 when I check the total is 34,418.61

So with this I will not stay longer at the VAC right?

Also advise me because I wanted to apply for my wife and there kids that means that each of them will pay that amount for prime time

I was on Assisted service before, but when I click on Self service I realised that there's no date for self service and I really wanted to upload the documents by myself ... But there's no available date ... So if I choose prime time will I also need to go for Assisted service right?

Please explain better to me because I wish to do self service

In my opinion do prime time , get there early , be among the first set to enter , do your thing and go. If I had known that’s what id have done Instead of getting there and seeing the queue and paying for premium lounge there she to due and I still ended up doing like two hours in premium lounge because I was number 11.

Upload your documents yourself and just show up for your biometrics at that prime time. I used premium lounge but I already uploaded my docs so it saved me time although everyone before me didn’t upload prior to getting there , I was so angry eh

Go back to the link from your application, click link appointment and it’ll redirect you , you will see upload documents button , it’s the last button , I think appointment schedule button is the second button. Just look through

Request for all those who recently received their visas. Can you please let us know when you completed your biometrics and when you got the mail to pick up your passport. I think it will help those like me waiting to receive ours. Thanks guys.

Good morning Firefunmi2014.

First of all is she your niece by birth or marriage? where is here mother?and do you have settled status?.

This would be a most difficult application.

The paper work and evidential burden you need to provide alone is headache for days and would depend on if you are her legal guardian and she is fully dependant on you to survive plus under the age of 18.

At the moment due to human trafficking and doctoring documentation,Our country Nigeria as at March 2021 has been placed on the restricted list so even if you adopt her now it would not be recognised here and you would have to battle with the courts.

How am sure this particular route would not work?.I have my British Naturalisation and we now want children. In doing the research i gathered all this information.
I have put a link below incase you want to have a read.
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/965905/Restricted_List_2021.pdf

I try to never say never as i try to be positive yet blunt.Pull out your plan B options and make alternative plans for your niece.

Thank you for taking your time to explain this.

I am on skilled care visa.

Let me quickly give a little background. The girl is my sister 's daughter, the father died before she was given birth to . She is 11 yes old. I have been taking care of her since then, I can't just leave her behind while I take my children alone.

Are there any other options available for me?

Hello, I want to confirm

Is it possible I keep my passport with me after Biometric is done at VFS next week

I am currently processing another country visa and I don’t want UK to keep the passport while the other country may request for my passport for visa stamping.

I need a very sincere answer please

No other long term options sadly.

I understand the emotional attachment but in the eyes of the law she is not your child even though you have been her primary carer.

However,if you can afford the burden then her alongside her mum can attempt to come spend time with you in the Uk via a family visit visa route.
