These people actually take the rest of the south for fools. We shall see how exactly Tinubu or indeed any other person from the SW will become president in this country.

Lol trust me in the 2023 election, the voter turnout in the SE won’t be even up to 5%. You are so so so inconsequential in the scheme of things.

Tinubu just need to liaise with the SS leaders by giving them options they can’t resist. They are not hateful beings in the SS, they still think with their brain and even as bad as Buhari was in 2019, they gave him over 30% of the votes, let alone Tinubu/Osinbajo.

Jonathan is just PDP by book, in reality he has long lost hope in the party. By 2023 when Asiwaju/Osinbajo will be on the ballot, Jonathan himself will come out to support them and that’s when you will know Nigeria have left you Ibos behind with your hate filled politics.

The first step we did is to make sure none of your candidates are sellable, even Obi Pandora knew he is helpless which explained why they all dare not flaunt their posters during the last PDP convention. You have been conquered psychologically, fearful to pursue the presidency you so longed for, and relegated to 5th class citizens politically.

As it stands now, even Ijaws get rep pass Ibos.

you are an ignoramus

In 2011 Gej as sitting president contested against acn and cpc

Gej was overwhelming favorite, tinubu acn didn't have the pull to outwit him so he sold ribadu for a plate of Amala

It was on the basis of that defeat tinubu merged with buhari because he knew he would continually fail if he didn't

GEJ and PDP never set out to sideline the Yorubas during his reign but they are too dubious to admit it.

PDP zoned the Speakership of the House of Representatives to the Southwest after the 2011 general elections.

It was Tinubu who ensured that the ACN House of Rep members teamed up with dissidents elements from the north to deny the Southwest that position only to turn around and use media to launch campaign of calumny against GEJ that he has sidelined the Yoruba in his government.

Can you imagine such people.
Are you ok Are you telling us Tinubu who hold any political office then is more stronger than president GEJ to make his wishes to happen in the Rep under gej ? Pls tell us something sensible again .

Lol the way it currently stands even Rochas clown Okorocha is more sellable than your bullion van thief.Igbos deliberately refused to contest the 2023 elections to allow a Northerner emerge in PDP and frustrate any SW chance of a presidency in APC.

About Tinubu's chances in the SS,we saw a glimpse of it during the last Edo elections.

GEJ was a democrat who wouldn’t force people to do anything for him.

What would he have done when ACN House of Rep members threw their weight behind Tambuwal with support of some PDP members who didn’t want Mulikat Akande to take it? Lock up the National Assembly and prevent the election of principal officers?

Lol!

I like the realistic instances you gave him.

Edo is the only state that Tinubu can possibly garner considerable votes, but Seeing how APC candidate was roundly beaten even after made a video claiming the father of democrats, it’s obvious that Tinubu has been rejected even in Edo. Now tell me which other Southsouth state can he garner votes from? Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom or Delta?

I was waiting for Tinubu to do a video for Andy Uba grin

The only place that Tinubu had chance of getting 5 percent of votes cast was in Edo. But did you see how APC candidate was roundly beaten even after Tinubu’s infamous video?

Now if his influence couldn’t do Jack in Edo, tell me where else Tinubu stands a chance in Southwest. Tell me that political influencer in Southsouth that will align with Tinubu.

Ask yourself, why is SWAGA not campaigning in SS/SE? Because unlike you that is living in denial, they know that there’s nothing here for Tinubu. Their target is north.

But I have question for you, what if North doesn’t vote Tinubu or Osinbajo in 2023? Game over abi?

It’s payback time for you guys in 2023.

Instead we will be alive and watch a Yoruba man become president in 2023, we will rather vote for Buhari’s third term.

You should have asked Tinubu to do a video for Andy Uba in Anambra. So that he will be defeated by wider margin.

Nonsense and Southwest Presidency!

From July this year, the once moribund Southern Governors Forum (SGF) seems to have been rejuvenated.

They started with their meeting in Asaba where they collectively placed a ban on Open Grazing and resolved to cause their state Assemblies to promulgate laws to that effect. I must commend those who have lived up that resolve so far.

The Asaba meeting was followed by their Lagos meeting where they issued a communique demanding that all parties in Nigeria should concede their 2023 Presidential Tickets to the South in the spirit of equity and fairness since Buhari would be completing 8 years of presidency for the north in 2023. Such a wonderful call.

In their meeting that followed in Enugu, they threw their weight behind state collection of VAT to further make funds available for states and move towards fiscal federalism. Commendable!

What these many meetings of theirs have shown is that the South is finally coming together to address issues that affect them with common front.

But recently, Rotimi Akeredolu, the leader of the Southern Governors Forum, has been engaging in such rhetorics that suggest that the clamour for Southern Unity so far is to unite the Southern Governors behind Tinubu’s presidential ambition which but betrays the sincerity of the drive to unite the south.

If the Southern Governors Forum had a sense of equity and fairness when they demanded that the presidency be zoned to South in 2023, why did they not extend such sense into admitting that since 1999, a Yoruba man has been President and Vice President for 8 apiece and a Southsouth man has been president for 6 years which leaves the Southeast as the only region in the south that hasn’t tested power and therefore should be considered, unopposed, for the presidency?

Why does it seem that the purported drive for unity is to help increase the chances of a Southwest man succeeding Buhari?

I suppose it is the reason that governors elected on the platform of the PDP are no longer enthusiastic about the Southern Governors Forum anymore or maybe just not interested in its demand for presidency to come to the South.

Hence my question, is southern unity for Yoruba gain? Or what is in it for the Southeast and Southsouth man?
