You foolish Igbos comment on this NL like lunatics. Since Tinubu dictate what happens in the NA can we also argue that Peter Obi is the one that selected the present leadership of the NA just so you understand that your father n not just you as to be foolish for your to keep making this senseless claim over 8 yrs.

Penguin2:

GEJ and PDP never set out to sideline the Yorubas during his reign but they are too dubious to admit it.

PDP zoned the Speakership of the House of Representatives to the Southwest after the 2011 general elections.

It was Tinubu who ensured that the ACN House of Rep members teamed up with dissidents elements from the north to deny the Southwest that position only to turn around and use media to launch campaign of calumny against GEJ that he has sidelined the Yoruba in his government.

Can you imagine such people.

nobody is holding u back, all Southerners are free to present their candidate or are u telling us sw don't have the right to contest?
Exactly my thought . The SE cannot expect the presidential ticket to fall on thier lap, just like that na! I am from the SS but I believe the Igbos are not serious in clinching that position yet..Just look at the last PDP convention , only the Northerners had flyers and posters every where to indicate Thier interest but Peter Obi posters were no where to be found .
No region will go out of thier way to fight & support another region, knowing that every is region selfish and self centered, and only looking out for Thier own .

You cannot complain that other region are not giving the SE a chance when you guys have not been able to launch any meaningful & massive campaign in support of one credible candidate from the SE.
These other region can manage to look your way after various lobbying and convincing for them to see reason why your region should be given a chance. And at this junction , the SE must be able to bring forth a credible candidate that other regions can reckon with & reconsider for the sake of equity (especially now that Nigerians are looking for a viable person go lead us out of this hell hole that we have all found ourselves). Then the SE leaders can travel even further, across board to mend fences with old foes in other regions and create new allies as well; so as so as to lobby their support for your candidate.

All I have been seeing from the SE is thier desire to clinch the presidential seat, which is executed by only talking , issuing threat here and there and telling Nigerians why the Igbo must be given the Number one seat but there is no concrete plan and any meaningful task on ground to achieve that .
No consultation among themselves on who they should present for that position.
No traveling across the nook &cranny of Nigeria to consult, lobby to sell Thier candidate.

The only thing we have been seeing from Thier Governors are ass-licking and betrayal of Thier own people with the hope that they will be favoured to clinch the presidential seat.

this is the problem... the same SW families who voted Buhari 2015 voted jonathan 2011 .. we had nothing to show for it , there is nothing like Yoruba Muslim or Christian bcz you'll find both of them within a single family, im a Christian but my cousin is a Muslim, why will i hate him for that? that's MURIC pipe dream anti Yoruba nation propaganda , we have the same interests.. we are only talking of a southern presidency today bcz we started a process in 2015 ,

SW are willing to vote an igbo .. but the SE never does the same.. now that the north don't trust you guys it'll be harder to sell..

we the SW are liberals we will accommodate your interests as well fully if given power ,

All these agitations you're doing .. the SW are veterans when it comes to agitating and protest and propaganda and fighting injustice..

igboho pursued an agenda we didn't buy into .. he put the cart b4 the horse.. but trust me you SE need to trust and ally up ... bcz when the chips are down we're your best bet

First, it was an Igbo woman, Dora Akunyili, that wrote the memo that exposed the Yaradua cabal’s shenanigans to clutch to power after Yaradua passed.

Second, it was David Mark, from North Central, who as senate president facilitated the invention of the Doctrine of Necessity that helped GEJ become president.

Now tell me the role the Yoruba played in saving GEJ from Turai?

You see all the votes APGA are raking in in Anambra? Those votes are for PDP in 2023. The truth is that the presidency is going back to the North. A Northern candidate will win in 2023. He will be voted in by the East and the North. If the South East are not good for Presidency, the North might as well keep it.

It's a lie, the news first broke on saharareporters.com, even Gej said he read about his boss death first on dailies, secondly Mark had no balls to make Jonathan president(fear of core North) until Sw started protesting, don't also forget a yoruba man made him vp(paving way for him to be president)

Which vote? Add up all the votes from all the parties that participated in the election it's not up to 500k

Next elections will not produce huge numbers. Elections will become more difficult to read as multiple voting will be eliminated by electronic voting. Electronic transmission will also reduce instances of alterations and inflation of figures. Once people begin to have trust in the electoral system, participation will increase massively.

How would a normal human being think Buhari sideline Yorubas in this admnistration. To start with, no second and fourth citizen presently are Yorubas.
Check the appointment made by Buhari so far, Yorubas are strategically placed and influence alot in this admnistration.
When it comes to Federal appointment in Buhari admnistration, Ogun State benefitted most more than any northern state.
So what is your arguement?

No Igbo wants to come out because should an Igbo man get the PDP ticket, it is you the Yoruba that kill his candidacy with propaganda with your media arsenal. You will make sure to remind northerners that a vote for an Igbo man is a vote for Nnamdi Kanu and that he will divide Nigeria.

We know you. We have seen through you.

And besides, who said power must be about contestations?

Why can’t Nigeria develop its brand of democracy where zoning is constitutionally entrenched? It will reduce apprehensions, bickering, violence and tensions that come with this struggle for power as we presently have it.

No region of this country is in lack of people with capacity. Or is there?

It is people like you who enjoy violence and spilling of blood that are against zoning so that power will be contested in the brutish old ways which brings about rancour and bitterness. Why must it be so?

If not because u see success in the prism of religion how can u failed to understand that GEJ is a monumental failure? Whatever the case may be PMB is better than GEJ in all ramifications.
Femi Adesina exposed ur religious fanaticism against PMB not because he has failed but rather because he is a Fulani-Muslim.

Yoruba benefit this govt more than Northerners especially in terms of appointment, see below:

Ogun tops Buhari’s 190 political appointees, South-east least represented.
Ogun State in South-west Nigeria has the highest number of political appointments made by President Muhammadu Buhari since his re-election in 2019 holding 17 out of a total 190 appointments, a document exclusively obtained by PREMIUM TIMES has revealed.
It is followed closely by Adamawa State with 14, and Kano, Lagos and Oyo states with 12 appointees each.
They are trailed by Katsina, Osun, Edo and Ondo with eight appointees apiece, Kwara and Ekiti with seven each while Delta comes next with six appointees.
States with the least appointments, according to the document, are Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Imo, Plateau and Zamfara, all of which have one political appointment each.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has no single political appointee.
Ogun is the home state of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Zonal distribution
On a zonal basis, the South-west geo-political zone, comprising Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Lagos, Ondo and Ekiti, tops the list with 64 appointees.
The North-west, Mr Buhari’s home zone, which has seven states altogether, comes a distant second with 37 appointees.
The states in the zone are Kebbi, Sokoto, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara and Katsina where Mr Buhari hails from.

You are just a bunch of cry babies.

Rather than pick a worthy candidate and rally round that person, you stand at the sidelines to email about the choice of others.

It's a level playing field. Take political advantage and exploit it to the full. Tinubu held his last birthday colloquium in the North, doled out millions of Naira to victims of fire incidents and is already reaching out across political divides to strike deals that will ensure their support for his ambition. Surprisingly, I can bet he is already winning some of your people over through agreements and deals, e.g. Sen Ken Nnamani. But here you are, politically naive waiting at the bottom of the palm tree and asking that the palm wine should flow down into your mouth instead of climbing up to tap it.

You can wail for all we care. Open plenty threads to denigrate the persons of Tinubu and Osinbajo, Poju Oyemade, Pastor Tunde Bakare and other Yorubas will still join the race on different platforms, while you and your politically-inert Igbo politicians can be running around headless demanding that tickets be given to them without any effort to step out to play their cards in striking deals and building alliances. Na their headache be that. Their servitude to the next Yoruba-led administration in the next tenure is only being confirmed.
Let IPOB fight all they can, they are not TPLF and this is not Ethiopia. They can't match the full might of the Nigerian Army.
