The defense is pretty calm no doubt but the midfielders with their transitions is top notch despite not at the level I and my co expected.

All I have said is we have asked for midfield improvement and we have seen part of what I mean because the midfield is looking like the big contributor this season in the league.

Our best player in September is a defender in person of Tomiyasu, our player of the month for October will probably be a goalkeeper in person of Ramsdale, but na midfield wey we strengthen dey do the magic.

No one is saying the midfield does not matter but if you say they have been better than the defense then we don’t need any improvements since they are that good. Okay on a more serious note, the only addition to our midfield despite Ur hues and cry about strengthening midfield was just Lokonga.

Last season we had Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard and Smith-Rowe in our midfield and u and the others kept on talking about how the management should've bought more midfielders instead of Gabriel when he was signed.

Now fast forward to this season the board instead of listening to u invested in buying a LB, RB, CB and just one CM. That team is picking up now and u are here trying to sell us the Gospel of how the midfield has Improved our overall play.

There's no urgency in his moves forward and so they leeech onto him and that is a silly way to pressurize your backline. Im not okay with that aspect of his game atall. Too piss poor for me. I recall one Counter he was supposed to release Saka early on as only 3watford defenders were there,he strolled into the centre circle like its 4-0 we are leading. Serious teams would punish such display.

If a Lethal left winger is bought, we might be seeing some kind of Marcelo/Cr7 partnership. I believe He'd be firetuned to attempt shots at goal. He has the drive in to do just that.

You ended up missing the whole point. I can bring out Ur posts as recent as early this season still berating the board for not adding to our midfield options. You balantly disagreed with those of us who concurred with the board that signing Gabriel was a step in the right direction.

That same midfield u claimed not be good enough and given less priority ahead of the defence ; it's that same midfield u suddenly tell us is the next best thing after slice bread? Haba!

The board fi illy signed more defenders and u + kokane + Akin trolled the club with " defence wins u league mantra"

How u expect us to just look away now while u praise that same midfield beats me. On this one I no go gree o . U saw Smith-Rowe last season, Odegaard, Partey and even Mitland-Niles yet u no gree say dem dey decent enough.....why the change of heart?
