pu7pl3:my hands should be giving you a very dirty slap right now if you were close to me. But it's unfortunate as you can't be close to me because you can't leave the abode of the people who feed you at your purple age. Also, it's pleasant to always throw insults when dealing with online whelps who believe they're larger than life because hey, data is cheap. Here you are calling me, hormone fueled 9 year old, when of course, its evident you're the hormone fueled misguided fool. Isn't that the reason why type in that horrible colour? Like which right thinking normal human being will type in that terrible font? Come to think of it, I didn't throw any insult when Beorn mentioned me at of the blue, did I? That should tell you vermins like you should always be given the insult of their life, first, whenever they decide to just how much of vermin they are. May a thousand bedbug give you Mouth Action till you die of multiple orgasm. Now please get lost and stay lost. |

pu7pl3: Another logic and reasoning professor. Those movies were means of entertainment and in any form doesn't support the activities, it is always written at the end or beginning of the movie . Nollywood also have movies about thieves and war and crimes of all sort. Those are social vices Homosexuality is way more than entertainment, it is an idea foreign to our culture. Same way an average American movie will not portray polygamous family or emulate Africa gods .. |

Born2Freak:Logic and principle laid down by who? Laws are based on culture and tradition of the society, principles are not gotten from neither the moon nor stars.... Logic is a way of reasoning, how does it relate with law? You know what a law is right? 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Born2Freak: Semantics. Culture covers all aspects of life and living. Law simply rubber stamps certain aspects of culture. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

pu7pl3: You apparently don't know shit about those movies neither have you taken your time to watch any one of them..... But you know what, Google is always right..... The movies listed there was about Africa culture.. You know what? The day America decides to accept polygamous marriage (one of the movies listed was about a man living away due to his polygamous family). Like I stated earlier on, Africa norms and culture frowns against homosexuality, if you think you need logic to disapprove that, your cup of tea 3 Likes 1 Share |

OSDD: Your comment betrays your level of reasoning. It's clear that you don't know two basic facts that should be common sense 1. Logic is universal. Culture is local and tribal. Both a Chinese man and a Nigerian will logically conclude that 2+2=4. 2. Principles are gotten from communication and exchange. You deal with people and you try to see how you can come up with good practices that Foster and protect human interactions. 3 Likes |

DrDax: Smh. Low IQ. In many cultures, women are seen as lesser than men and are not allowed in many leadership positions. Should that dictate law? Logic is universal. Abeg. Stick to movies. 2 Likes |

Born2Freak:It's always important not to shift the goal post during conversation, I don't need your show of logics and principle here.. My stance will always be the same Homosexuality has no room in Africa culture, if you're not happy with it, deal with it 2 Likes |

Gmajor: You have time sha. There comes a time when someone is irredeemable in hypocrisy and ignorance, you just have to let them be. He's talking about homosexuality not being an African thing like homosexuals weren't once persecuted decades ago in the white man's countries, like homosexuality has been revered centuries ago in the European countries and was their tradition. He probably forgot that humans who were once accused of being witches were burnt at stakes back in the dark ages before education changed everything, along with other preposterous medieval practices that have be eradicated with education and knowledge. Some people can't be reasoned with. Religion and traditions are two things that takes away logic from many Nigerians. Let it go. It's not worth it. Once upon a time, human sacrifices was an African practice, I guess we'd stick with them since it's our culture. SMH. 5 Likes |

OSDD: This is why they say that Nigerians argue with emotions instead of logic and sense. Which dirty African culture? The same culture that allows men to marry unlimited number of wives? The same culture that gives inheritance to the first son, irrespective of circumstances? The same African cultures where there is FGM? The same African cultures that don't have age of consent? Where 65 year old men can marry 15 year old girls? Lol.....so much for culture. 6 Likes |

Born2Freak: Id.iot. Sit your pompous argumentative a.rse down and take some correction. "Law is actually a product of culture, much like every single other social construction. Our culture defines how we perceive society and our place in it, and thus how we perceive what society “ought to be” and the rules it should follow. I could go on endlessly, but instead I will refer you to Austin Sarat & Thomas R. Kearns excellent work Law in the Domains of Culture (University of Michigan Press, 1998). It may be a bit dated, but I find most of it still quite relevant today." 3 Likes 1 Share |

The Harder They Fall (2021) 9/10 Jeymes Samuel puts together a thing of beauty here. I can't remember the last time I saw someone being fully involved in the production of a movie. He wrote the story, contributed to the screenplay and composed the score. Honestly, if someone told me he prepared the food in catering too, I'd believe them. The Harder They Fall is a fun, soulful ride through the Wild West telling the tale of a cycle of vengeance, relationships and convictions. Jeymes Samuel put together an awesome cast of both veteran and young actors and boy, does everyone deliver on the assignment. If you had any doubts about Jonathan Majors having a career as leading man, he clears those doubts in this movie. Lakeith Stanfield is a scene stealer and definitely has me as a fan now. And of course, one can't talk about this movie without appreciating the god-tier soundtrack. Hip-hop, Reggae, Afrobeats and even some opera and classical. Speaking of which, I desperately need to get my hands on the choir version of "The Harder They Fall" track. This movie is absolutely a treat that I'm going to enjoy as many times as I can find the time. And I would like to see more from Jeymes Samuel. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

DrDax: Trash. Rubbish. Nonsense. English culture 50 years ago -no gay rights -christian religion and prayer compulsory in schools -interracial marriage frowned upon -Bishops of church of England wielded power I'm government Today, all of these things have changed. Culture is a bad influence on law. Things change. Logic and principles last longer. |
