I joined Christ Embassy 8 years ago, and I have not regretted it at all.

I love my Man of God, Pastor Chris so much because God used him to open my eyes to his word. I have learned to fellowship with the word and the Holy Spirit, and my life has never being the same again.

His teachings about the Holy Spirit has tremendously helped me.

His love and compassion towards people has also helped me to learn to show love in the ways that I can.

I don't joke with my Rhapsody of Realities. I read it every single day, say my health confessions and the #keepsayingit confessions of the day.

I also try to participate in the Monday, Wednesday and Friday Pray-a-thon.

All these has helped to improve my spiritual life, and I'm grateful to Pastor Chris for that.

His recent teachings about the rapture has also put made me conscious that Jesus is coming back very soon. I have prepared my heart, and consciously laying aside every weight of sin that would make me not to be a part of the first flight. I definitely do not want to be here when the antichrist shows up.

These rapture teachings has made me to pray for sinners more. I pray everyday for my friends that are not born again, I declare their souls for Christ, and I know that God will answer me soonest. I also pray for sinners all around the world, nobody should be here during the reign of the antichrist because it will not be funny.

I have also learned to be faithful in paying my tithe.

I love you, Pastor Chris. Thank you for letting God use you to give my life a meaning.

Both are good. It's just that model parish are so fashion conscious ( which is good) so I get carried away sometimes with fashion and worries of what to wear next because everyone is always dressed to kill. That I don't have a problem with but it makes me sort of lose focus of why I'm in church. But classical no send you. If you like repeat one clothe for 6 months, no body will look at you or begin to calculate all that ( that's what I feel though).

I just wanna go and worship God. And I don't want anything that will distract me.

The model also known as Apapa family are very warm and loving people though but that fashion... .aaahhh I never get their power now.

My brother,in as much as I don't object to your personal opinions about certain religious practices undertaken by the Catholic church. I want to tell you that most of her practices are misunderstood by you,brother.You see, I want to believe that you just went through only their catechism classes and that's all.No,your steps to Christian faith and understanding doesn't stop there! I am sorry to say that you have only but a limited and crude experience and knowledge about some of the core practices of the mother church. I am not here to say that the Catholic church is the best church. Of course,that may and may not take one to Heaven.But what I am trying to let you know is that you are still a floating Catholic.I need you to dig in dip and know the true reasons why some things are been done in the church.Join a pious society(The block rosary crusade,the Ligionary or even the Catholic charismatic renewal group for better enlightenment in the faith) in the church.Ask those of better understanding,get religious materials from the church and make intensive research as to why certain practices are carried out.Don't just copy others because they said it should be done that way.Ask God in prayer during your quiet time or prayer session (if you do any) to reveal to you certain mysteries and hidden truths about the church. I must confess to you... I am a Catholic not because someone preached to me,I am an ardent lover of The Blessed Virgin Mary, not because I heard that she is the mother of my Lord and Saviour... but because I have had personal overwhelming encounters of her that some deacons or pastors haven't had.My question again is... My comparison of their fashion style was in response to your question about the difference between both classical and model parishes. But generally, I'm stuck with RCCG as a whole ( be it model or classical) because of the reasons I stated initially in my very first comment.

Know what you want in a church first. Any church you attend up to six months and you don't get it. You leave to another church till you get what you are looking for in a church.
