Tbh I won't mind Moyes getting a second chance at United.
On his first spell you can argue a lot of things weren't actually right. Ferguson didn't make it easy for the next manager, as was plain from others that followed Moyes. Many players of Ferguson's last team were already old, some were average players that really needed a very developed playing pattern to function well, and there wasn't really a recruitment structure put in place as Sir Alex monopolized that.

Now we have a good talented squad with a balance of age and talent, and a better recruitment structure. Just lacking a good coach.

undecided

Go hire him back nau.

At least a coach with experience is better than an apprentice coach. See what Moyes is doing with a small team. But she, the weight of Man United is heavy on coaches. Even Van Gaal got confused at some point. When he became deep in fire, he resorted to playing more of kids just as a defence that he was building for the future instead or helping to raise future super stars.

Stop having evil thoughts.

Moyes was phenomenal at Everton before he turned us to what we are today.

Even Ole won trophies at Molde.

Roma should be scoring more when they attack but the problem is the defence. It has been all season. How many times have they conceded 3 goals this season? 2 goals should be enough to beat a team that finished 5th in Serie B last season.

They need to sign someone that can be a leader in that defence. Sign some proper experience, even if they're old...A season or two is all they need them for.

They could use someone like that in attack as well (like Zlatan is at Milan) but defence should be the priority.

Profligacy is Mourinho’s biggest problem at Roma.

Ole is the problem.

Even Maguire was so much better at Leicester although he should never have commanded the £80m fee.

This boy was impressive I must say

Declan Rice’s for West Ham vs. Liverpool:

91% pass accuracy
47 touches
10 ball recoveries (most)
6 duels won (=most)
5 tackles (most)
3 accurate long balls
1 interception

Another superb performance. https:///gZ1I2D2bEG

The reason is because of how he improved the squad chief. Be like una get short term memory but the squad was bad before sha, so bad Mourinho said finishing second with us was his greatest achievement. Apart from clearing the deadwood we all clamored should be gotten rid of, he worked together with the management to establish some sense of a recruitment structure, both in the academy and the senior team. And should I mention he is also a club legend that retired not too long ago (which means many people still remember him playing)? Of course, he's going to have fans, but whether he does or not is irrelevant so far the future of Man United is in question, he isn't good enough. I don't think we can win anything with him, he just isn't as tactically astute as those he is competing with. This isn't the Norwegian league, unfortunately.

Did Ole buy these players with his own money cos I don’t understand this improvement you people are talking about.

This was the same caliber of players that Jose asked for and he was told to coach the shitty players he had in his squad.

When they realized Jose was right about needing quality recruitment, they sacked him and hired a yes man and they gave the yes man what they should have given Mourinho.

As for the deadwood theory, the players Ole got rid of are better than the ones he kept. Did he really get rid of deadwood though? What are Mata, Grant, Matic, Phil Jones, etc still doing in the squad?

Lukaku - better than Martial/Rashford
Romero - better than Dean Henderson
Herrera - better than Matic/McFred
Young - better than Shaw/Brandon Williams
Fellaini - better than Lingard/Mata/Matic
Smalling - better than Maguire/Lindelof/Jones

So what deadwood are we talking about. Most of these players have moved on to win big titles where they ply their trades now whilst Ole’s special woods have lost 6 semifinals to average teams in the same period.

I no get strength for back and forth abeg, if you think he didn't improve the squad then he didn't improve it. I'm sure I have read a back and forth about this here before with nobody winning the argument.

Lampard retired after Ole so just die that talk and Lampard did more for Chelsea...

Ole didn't restructure anything rather the club management did and we are yet to rip off the said restructuring...Which yeye recruitment structure? The same one that brought in players that can't get a game or are simply not good enough? For the over £400m Ole has spent, how many have been able to nail down a starting spot and for those who have, how many are performing at a level required at Manchester United?

Which dead wood has he cleared? Mata and Jones are Greenwoods abi?

Someone has spent more than £400m in just 3 seasons at the club that already had its fair share of quality players and you're telling me stories instead of pointing to his achievements on the pitch...

3 years and we still have no recognizable style of play and you're telling me he is a legend and blah blah blah...Baba no quote me again with this watery excuses for the fraud else 2 x 2 plank go kiss your mouth...

Martial should be loaned out in January to a Club in France with Obligation to buy. Lingard should be allowed to join a Top 4 Contender (Westham) in January as well.

If Ole ain't gonna be playing DVB, he should let him join Ajax on loan till end of Season. Club should try every mean in their Power to offload Bailly, Maguire and Shaw during Summer Transfers Window. I honestly wish this is their last Season at United.

To cap it all, nothing gonna make me happy more than seeing a Breaking News in the Morning that; "OGS and his backroom Staff have mutually left the Club....... details soon".
