As a Barcelona fan,I don't know if I should be happy or sad,we taking a two weeks rest from enduring matches only for Nigeria to give an even bigger eyesore and I start missing Barcelona again, honestly football has been messing my mental health up lately.

Five Nigeria-eligible players have been named in the Team of the Week by Whoscored.com after the last round of matches.

Glasgow Rangers star Joe Aribo is in the best eleven for the Scottish Premiership, thanks to his goal and assist in a 4-2 win over Ross County at Ibrox Stadium.

The left-footed midfielder registered three shots with two on target, made two key passes, won two aerial duels, was accurate in 86.7 percent of his passes, made two interceptions, two clearances and two tackles over the course of ninety minutes vs Ross County.

Royal Antwerp rising star Alhassan Yusuf has been rewarded with a spot on the Belgian First Division A Team of the Week after opening his account in the division in the second half against RSC Anderlecht.

The 21-year-old finished with an impressive passing accuracy of 91.1 percent while making two tackles, one interception, one clearance and two key passes.

There is a Nigerian representative in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of the Week in the form of Sparta Rotterdam's promising teenager Emanuel Emegha, who scored his second of the season in a 3-0 road win at Willem II.

The 18-year-old center forward won an asstonishing seven aerial duels, registered two shots on target and won two fouls for his team.

Anthony Nwakaeme has been deployed as the left-sided midfielder in the Turkish Super Lig Team of the Week.

The 32-year-old provided the game-winning assist in the 96th minute of Trabzonspor's 2-1 win at Besiktas, one of the two key passes he made during the game.

Nwakaeme completed a team high three dribbles and was accurate in 73.3 percent of his passes.

Bournemouth star Dominic Solanke, who bagged a brace in a 4-0 rout of Swansea City, is one of two center forwards named in the EFL Championship Team of the Week.

The 2017 U20 World Cup winner registered three shots on target, completed one take-on and had a passing accuracy of 77.8 percent.

The former Nigerian youth international delivered another brilliant performance at the weekend to inspire his Swedish side to victory at the weekend

Akinkunmi Amoo has been rewarded for his excellent showing for Hammarby in their 3-2 triumph over Orebro at the Tele2 Arena.

The 19-year-old dazzler was handed the man-of-the-match award after helping Milos Milojevic’s side twice come from behind to bag their 13th league win of the campaign.

The visitors twice led courtesy of a Paulsen own-goal late in the first half and Besara’s 64th-minute strike. But Simon Sandberg equalised for the home side before Amoo made it 2-2 in the 66th for his ninth goal in 26 league games and his second in his last four Allsvenskan matches.

Aside from his goal, the former Golden Eaglets’ star was as enterprising as ever, completing 86% of his 28 passes while notching two key passes, which his teammates failed to convert to assists.

Gustav Ludwigson found the back of the net for the winner in the 85th, warming the hearts of most among the 22,013 spectators in the November cold in Stockholm.

Despite the equally fantastic contributions of Sandberg and Ludwigson, Amoo was picked as the winner of the official Craft best player award for the encounter.

It's only good if he moves to a first league. No matter how poor it is.

It mustn't be a second division.

He was on loan at Akwa United last season, from an MLS team. Nigerian teams (clubs) are bad technically, good thing most are into academy groomed players now.
He's going higher from there!

Not all second Divisions are poor and with low quality like the Segunda. The gulf in quality between the La Liga and the Segundo is vast.

You can add the finances are very poor indeed within the Segunda.

Tosin kehinde with a lofted assist. Moses Simon also

This is why Moses keeps getting called up . He's not tall as osimhen, doesn't dazzle like ejuke. He's got it but it seems the whole thing is on the team as a whole, chucks is young and selfless and can work with osimhen, but kalu, s. Moses, Musa will rather go for it
IMO though

Reports have it that the main reason why Samuel Kalu asked to be left out of AFCON qualifier against Liberia and Cape Verde is because he has become a second option to Chidera Ejuke in the SE.

FC Midtjylland have rewarded promising Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika with a new long-term contract following his first team breakthrough in the new season, writes the official website of the Danish Superliga side.

The FC Ebedei product has put pen to paper on a new deal that runs until 2026.

Prior to the start of this season, the 20-year-old had not featured in the Danish top-flight but has forced his way into the first team after the sale of Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka to sister club Brentford.

Onyedika was recently named the Young Player of the Month for October in the Superliga.

In the first four months of the 2021-2022 season, he has appeared in 24 matches, missing only one game against Kjellerup IF in the third round of the Sydbank Pokalen.

Commenting on his new deal, Onyedika said to the club's official website : "It feels really good to sign a new contract in FC Midtjylland.

"I'm happy and proud of that, but most of all I'm grateful for the club and all that they have done for me in recent years.

"I would like to pay that back by helping the team in every match".

Onyedika scored his first goal in FC Midtjylland colours against Glasgow Celtic in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers and opened his Superliga account in a 3-1 win over Randers at the end of October.
