Hello everyone
please if I filled that I wasn’t employed in my previous DS160 and I was interviewed today 8th of November and I I want to fill another DS-160 for reapplication can I say that I’ve been employed since 2019.

Do they have records of it.

Kindly answer

“ He can obviously say he has been employed, and that is the reason why it took him some time to reapply again because he really wanted to get a strong foot in the employ and build relationships which he succeeded in getting. And that he has been assured a place there on his return from studies.”

Good afternoon sire and mas, I am new here, I need some further guidance
I have been reading things online before my search brought me here. I am a graduate of English literature of Ekiti State University and I have been looking at schools online. I have fond western Illinois University and Washington University in St. Louise and am planning to apply soon. Please is there any body that is a student of any of the universities or is planning to apply that can help me look at my personal Statement.
I will really appreciate it sirs and mas. Thanks a bunch!

Nothing wrong with your transcript...

You should re apply..
Since you were interviewed by the bald Caucasian male VO Who is now towing the path of the mean Korean guy and basing his decisions on travel history...
You need to Know FOR NOW in Abuja you have 2 options....
1. The Korean guy( who would still deny you because you have no travel history)
2. Female VO...Who is more lenient.

The day she will join the others..then everyone will run away from Abuja.

The below VISA APPROVAL Transcript was for my brother who got his Visa Today At The Abuja Embassy.

Visa Approved on 08/11/2021
First Attempt
School: University Of Kentucky
Funding: $65,000 ( RAship with Excess of $8,000)

My interview was just two questions as the VO was impressed with my Assistantship and my DS-160 (i think as he was just reading through it).

VO: How did you got this huge scholarship?
ME: I believe the admission committee were satisfied with my level of academic excellence and motivation towards research and earning a graduate degree. I graduated as one of the best students from my department and I have worked with some of my lecturers who gave me brilliant recommendations along side my application.

VO: What will this degree do for you?
Me: Thank you sir. This degree will afford me the opportunity for picking up a full time lecturing appointment at my alma Mata upon my return back to Nigeria as i intend to become a lecturer.

VO: I will be approving your VISA
ME: Thank you Sir and have a good day.

I want to appreciate all the leaders on this group and God bless you all.

After making an inquiry from the school, I was given this reply;

Thank you for your inquiry and interest in our graduate program.

Our MBA program is currently accepting applications for Fall 2022 semester. Application deadline is May 1st, 2022. Your online application along with all required documents and $40 USD non-refundable application fee must be submitted to our Admissions office prior to the deadline to be considered. Please note that our MBA program is a 100% online program- we do not issue I-20 for MBA international students for this reason.

Oops. I guess you have to keep on searching. From my end, that is one very cheap Uni I've heard people discuss.
Sorry I could not help.

Congratulations to your brother!

Only a satanically sadistic VO wouldn't have approved that! A VO who's controlled by the village people!

This is impressively impressive!

All the best to your brother!

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LMAO grin grin grin grin grin grin
Brother, I understand the pain.
But the truth is, that guy has the power to give or deny based on the circumstances at the moment. The last I remember, consular officers are empowered by law to grant visas to whomsoever they wish to give and there is nothing anyone can do about it; not even the president of the free world.
Reporting him won't solve anything at all. So kindly dead that idea grin, make matter no worse. You never know if his superiors are okay with his way of doing things. If you report him, they might end up promoting him. Shebi you see say you don dash am free appraisal.
Anyways, let us be hopeful of good things to come.

starch100:
Can we get the Korean guy's name so we can all send a mail to the embassy with an anonymous email address and report the guy?
Travel history shouldn't be a criterion for a visa. Some people can't dream of ever traveling if not for scholarships.
The guy does not care if you are on a scholarship or not.
Let's do what we have to do.

I got approved today 9th November.
Abuja Embassy
First Attempt, no travel history.
School: Georgia State University
Course: French Studies
Funding:$36,140 (full tuition waiver + GTA)
Deficit: $15, 603.

V.O : Good morning.
Me: Good morning.
V.O: I see you're to Georgia State University to study French Language.
Me: Yes.
V.O: And I see you have a Graduate assistanship?
Me: Yes.
V.O: You have a deficit. Who's going to pay for it?
Me: My uncle. He is a pharmacist.
V.O: What will this course do for you?
Me: I will come back to my organisation (mentioned it) where I will seek to move to the Academy being built by ECOWAS to lecture. I was a French Facilitator at one of our training schools before being deployed to Abuja. (I can't remember if I said all this or it was in my head, but I already planned on saying it. So, I guess it came out fine).
V.O: So, you're saying that you will come to work with ECOWAS Academy, right?
Me: No. Migration Academy being built by ECOWAS.
V.O: Okay.
She typed for a while, maybe 30 seconds and then reached out for the white paper.
V.O: shd7dunxokjyyfghjj I-20 hdieijks safe js7eiejnznsj Corona virus djdururjzozxxbbt. I didn't hear anything except these few words. I was just nodding and smiling.

All praise to God because the sequence of questions were not followed, she was answering the questions she was supposed to ask me. Questions like why the US and not France I was expecting was not asked. I give God all the praise. I've been on this journey since last year. I got this admission for Summer 2021 but deferred to Spring 2022. I'm so glad to have a Graduate Coordinator who is understanding. She assured me my funding will be intact and that I can defer.
Thanks to you all that has been helping with tips, encouragement and transcripts. God bless you all.
If you believe in God, hold him tight, tell him what you want and stand on it. I nearly lost faith with all the denials here but I started speaking scriptures to myself. God is good don't put him aside. God bless you all.

Hi Everyone, base on the transcript I have been reading on here,I am yet to see anyone going to college and I have been giving admission to Harrisburg Area Community College for Nursing, though my O level is commercial.

Why is there not much college like Msc and PhD?

Good evening guys. Pls i need more light on this issue of mine. Apparently i can’t reschedule my current appointment and i can’t request for Emergency appointment again as my ER was denied twice last month. The emergency request tab isn’t showing anymore.

1. Does this mean i will have to pay another visa fee?.
2. And will i need to cancel the current appointment and start all over again or just update my profile where necessary?

Pls i will appreciate your replies . Thanks
