The cleansing of the blood is continuous in a Christian's life as long as he or she abides in the truth of Jesus christ.

The answer is, as long as a man or a woman continue in the undefiled faith of Jesus christ then he or she will be washed with the blood.
Except, I think that person has denied christ by rejecting the Christian faith.
But whether that person is a true christian or not is a subject of debate within christianity but we are told and admonished as Christian is to continue in the faith of Jesus christ.
