Hello fam, please I need advice on what to do: I applied for family reunion visa and German passport for my baby, after verification and everything, I was told to submit my passport and travel insurance, I was given visa but nothing is said about my baby's German passport. They just sent my passport without my original documents and nothing about my baby. I have written them several times and no response. Please I don't know what to do. My visa will expire by January |

No o. It was you nah. You wrote that you were interviewed in the 5th of August and your lawyers visited you on the 7th of September. And you were sent a verification completed mail. I have almost same timeline as you but I haven't been sent a verification completed mail. That got me worried. Josinobirian: |

Good Evening y'all, Please I'd like to enquire from those who have undergone verification process in regards to reunion visa to Germany. Were you expected from the lawyer to Carter for his cost of displacements and accommodation for the various places he needs to go? Were you required to outright fund all his movements patterning the verification process? Aren't the lawyers commissioned by the embassy and therefore paid for the whole process? Did you all bribe the lawyers? If yes like how much? What happened to those who refused to bribe the lawyers? Thanks for every input. |
Re: General German Work And Family Re-union Visa Enquiries by bashito: 7:01pm On Nov 03, 2021 |
I have undergone the verification process and I know for a fact that the cost incurred by the lawyer at the process of verification is handled by his firm. That was why you paid 150k for the verification. You are not expected to pay him a Kobo. The lawyer assigned to me actually requested for a bribe of 200k from me. He tried to manipulate me to pay the money by instilling fears in me that my records were not complete. He sent me the account number to send the money. I forwarded everything to my husband and he called his bluff! My records are absolutely complete. He told me to go to my schools one after the other and get all the records he got there. I did exactly that and I face my front. Although I'm still waiting for my verification report, I have all my documents intact with me in case there is any issue. I will present them at the embassy and report him officially. Note that, I have my records complete. I didn't play pranks at any point in time. Good luck! Bonn2007: |

Re: General German Work And Family Re-union Visa Enquiries by bashito: 6:52pm On Nov 05, 2021 |
Well, my spouse contacted them at that Bremen Germany on Tuesday night and they responded to his mail on Thursday to submit some documents. His friend did on Monday and was responded to on Thursday too. Ask her what mail she sent a message to. It should not take that long. Josinobirian: |

Hello all, Please I did my family reunion interview on the 19th of August 2021 and I am yet to hear anything from the lawyer or the German embassy. Please is there anyone in similar situation? I´m very concerned because I need the originals of my school documents for an important admission. Should I write to the embassy to release my documents or should I just wait a little longer. If anyone can help me with answers, I will be grateful. Thank you so much! |

Greeting house what does the embassy means that the departure should not be sheduled any sooner than at least 7 days after the posting of your envelope? |

Richard00000: Your departure date should be from 7 days and above For example today is 9/11/21 your travel date cannot be 13/11/21 but from 17/11/21 |

Please, people should tell their story on visa granted to encourage those of us waiting. This wait is frustrating honestly! And no word from the embassy to make it worse! |

Oh wow! 2019 Please can you take us through your journey? What date did you apply? When did you go for interview? When did the lawyer come for verification? When did they send you a *verification completed* mail? When did you eventually get the visa? And do you have an idea why it took so long? It will be appreciated if you can run us through your journey to encourage those of us on the waiting list. Thank you. Richard00000: |

The return of envelope means your documents and your stamped passport would be inside. You can track the parcel depending on the courier service you used. If it is dhl, check your receipt and the slip you collected form them. Their website and the tracking number is there. Richard00000: |
