Appreciate your response @Omiinii. She did not receive any letter, you know the kind of pay and relax kind of agents, they only ask for your international passport and that is all.

Who is a licensed consultant in this case? i really don't know any i can recommend sir/ma. On the GCMS notes, she is on it even though time is not enough, her course starts by January next year. She will be commencing her studies online so i guess that makes sense too.

Omiinii:
Let her order her GCMS notes. she might have to employ the services of a licensed consultant. I believe they know what best to do!. With the amount of fake documents packed in this application are sure she didn't receive procedual fairness letter!

For others if you applied with an agent and you don't know or have knowledge of all the documents and Information submitted. I'll advise you withdraw your application now before it gets to the hands of a VO.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Omiinii: 10:45am On Nov 12, 2021
Are you 100% sure the agent didn't receive it and hide it from her? Please be sure. if na to carry the agent go station. It is customary for them to hide certain details from their clients.

KSA, infohub canada, e.t.c are examples of licensed consultants. You can also do some research your self once you get information here, go the extra mile and confirm the accuracy of such information.

For the GCMS NOTES, She must have it due to the severity of the situation right now. This incident can affect her immigration plans forever, if she was found inadmissible. It's a very delicate case. Take it up seriously.

Hi, actually it's my first time posting here...
Please I want to confirm if I'm on the right track.
My husband and I got a conditional acceptance to study at CNA. Due to long visa processing in Nigeria, we decided to apply for Canada study permit for both of us with the conditional acceptance. We did our biometrics November 9th,and he used his payslip and I used 5 million balance account for statement of account.
I really do hope we are on the right track. Any advice please to help

Hi Deronke,

Are both of you applying together for the same course and school?
When you say payslips, what are you trying to achieve with it?
What/who are you planning to use as home ties?
What is the total amount you have set aside for proof of funds?
Have you drafted your SOP?
Kindly provide answers then the house can advise you further.

All the best

If your LOA is for September admission, I'll suggest you get an updated one and forward via mail and webform to IRCC.

Really unfair. I did biometric May 28th and eligibility has started since September and nothing since then. I'm in my 6th month. I'll wake up every morning expecting a good news and if I don't get one, my day I'll be ruined. This IRCC delay is in another level... Still, I hope on God for good news soon.

Hello,
If I get your message, you and your husband both have admissions? If this is the case, I would humbly suggest that you focus on applying for visa for either of you who has a much stronger profile for approval. However, it seems you have both submitted your applications already.
With regards to the 5m, is this the total proof of funds available for both of your studies? Frankly, the stated amount won't even fly for a single candidate.
While there could be exceptions, you might have to tighten lose ends especially as it relate to funds. You can always update your application via webform.
Wishing you all the very best.

Okay sorry, so this is it again.

* I have a female friend who currently holds a Letter of acceptance to study in Canada. She is about to start her visa application.
* She also holds a previous visa refusal to Canada about three years ago. She applied through an agent (tourist visa)

* In her previous application, the agent declared that my friend is married and submitted a fake marriage certificate.

* The agent also submitted a fake Bachelor degree certificate from a different school (think he did that cause of her 3rd class).

* The agent also declared a fake employment history

Now that she currently holds a letter of acceptance and about to commence her visa application, i need advice on how she can explain her situation given that in the real sense she is:
*SINGLE with no marriage history
*Has a genuine BSc certificate from the right institution as against the institution declared by the agent
*Has a genuine employment history as against the ones declared by the agent.

Since the visa officer will have access to documents submitted for her previous application which was refused, can anyone PLEASE advice my friend on how her application should be presented, and do you think giving all this information about "using a wrong agent" in her personal statement will help out?

Please help!!!

For the refusal to spell out all those fake documents, it means a procedural fairness has been sent to the applicant. You will need the assistance of an experienced person not necessarily a registered consultant with IRCC as those one can make you sell your house just to hire them.

You also have to sit down with the agent and discuss your stand with him or her, go along with a police so that he can spell out what actually happened. And if at all there was a ban in any case becuase you can be banned for 5years in such cases.

Yes, we are both applying together, same school and same course.
Payslip he submitted was his own proof of funds. He works with the British embassy so he used the payslip as his proof of funds.
I used 5 million as proof of funds
Yes, I've drafted SOP which I mentioned to my elder brother who stays in Canada, hoping they could consider us with that.
I would really appreciate your help on what to do

The thing is, he used only his payslip to get uk visitors visa 2 months ago, so he thought he could also use it for Canada ,that's why he used it and I used the 5m.
So do you mean i can update proof of funds after submission?

Hello Deronke

I have quiet a number of questions to ask you as regards what you posted,

Was it an agent that advised you to do this kinda application?
Now that you and your hubby both applied for separate study permit applications(strange), what do you wanna use as home ties?

You said you used 5 million balance account, with this I wanna assume you have already paid your full school fees, right?..

How is your inflow and outflow i.e transaction history? cos SOA is not about closing balance..
Are you a self sponsor applicant, cos your hubby cant be your sponsor because he also applied for study permit.
Did you draft an SOP and LOE to explain your situation.. i.e Yourself and your hubby applied for study permit together

I dunno why you both took this step, maybe someone that is void of knowledge of this Canada study application process advised you to do this, which I know is a wrong move. What married applicants do here is that the spouse that have the higher chance of getting an approval applies, he or she uses the spouse as a strong home tie here and when he/she gets the Visa and gets to Canada, then the applicant applies for a spousal permit for his/her spouse to come over..

And for the Married ones with Kids that wanna do a family application i.e going together, the main applicant applies for a study permit, he/she applies for Spousal permit for the spouse and Visitor Visa for the Kids.. And we have seen many applicants here getting their Visa for a family application..

So this your kinda application is not advisable, but who knows, you guys may make history and be the first couples to get your seperate study permit Visas at the same time... It will end in praise despite the ODDS..

Peace

Hi,

There is still some work to do on your application Deronke, if both of you are applying at the same time then your burden of proof of funds will be higher, because you will have to show yours and your husband his. You are supposed to show that you have the amount for your tuition and at least CAD10,000 for your 1 year leaving expenses. Your 5m will not be enough for proof of funds. This is what I will advise
Your husband has to show he has the funds readily available for tuition and living expnses, payslips will only be accepted as evidence of his earnings and emplyment.
My suggestions
1. Let only 1 of you submit application for the SP
2. Look for funds that will be used as proof of funds from your siblings, husband etc, note funds that will be available o cos you will be saying the funds will be used by you over there.
3. Whoever is going, the other person can be used as home ties during the application.
4. Your elder brother in Canada can used a sponsor during the application but he has to show he has the funds to take of you and his immediate family.

Hello geawears

When your friend knows she has all her original documents, why did she give the Satanic agent go ahead to submit fake documents..

Why do a fake Marriage certificate, can't a Single person get Visa?

I don't just understand people for crying out loud.. If an applicant gets banned, these agents continue with their life and business while the applicant will be the one that suffers for the mess these agents actually caused..

Are you sure she hasn't gotten banned?

Mind you, CANADA has records of all applicants i.e if an applicant is refused and wanna re-apply, they already have all the information the applicnat has put down in the refused application, now you wanna state the original documents which will be totally different from what was submitted in the past..

Anyways, you can send the original documents this time and pray hard that God will grant her favour in the sight of the Visa Officer that will handle her applications..

I still dont understand why an applicant will give a satanic agent a go ahead to submit an application with fraudulent documents..

Peace

geawears:
Guys! A friend has LOA and about to commence her study permit visa application.

She has one previous visa refusal to Canada about 3years ago. But meeeen, the agent did a lot of fraudulent acts as highlighted below.

* He declared my friend married then provided fake marriage certificate (but her study permit visa will show her genuine marital status i.e SINGLE)

* He declared a fake bachelor degree certificate (but her study permit visa will show her genuine BSc Certificate)

* He declared fake employment history (but her study permit visa will show her genuine employment history)

My friend was able to realise all of this on the day of her biometric. It was a big mess.

WHY I AM HERE---- Given the highlighted fraudulent/fake documents highlighted above, please how would you advice my friend to present her visa application, she is even willing to commence her study online. She does not even know how to explain herself in the personal statement. Please advice oooooooo gurus in the house.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

It depends on you really, the bank will have to wait for CBN to allocate funds for them before they can make payment to the school, and sincerely no one can say with certainty when that will be.
Which payment are you saying is cancelled if they have not received anything?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Nobody: 12:43pm On Nov 12, 2021
I have come back with my testimony and story, my little kind of way of giving back to the community. I hope this helps.

Submitted application: June 18
Request for biometrics: June 19
Completed biometrics: June 21
Period of no update: June 22 to Sept. 19
Request for medicals: Sept. 20
Completed medicals: Oct. 4
Period of no update: Oct. 4 to Oct. 12
Passed medicals: Oct. 12
Period of no update: Oct. 12 to Nov. 11
Correspondence letter: Nov. 12, 6:35 AM
Passport Request: Nov. 12, 6:38 AM

First of all, I want to give all the glory, honor, and adoration to the Almighty God—to whom all the credit is due. I wouldn't be doing this without His hands in this.

Now to the story. I'm a first-time applicant, and I've submitted my application before I became a regular on this platform. Though I couldn't recall, I might’ve used part of the resources here in my application process, as it was most of what I read online that guided me. I’d find different tutorials—blogs, forum posts, and videos and follow the one I thought would yield the best result.

It all started with the thoughts of satisfying the urge to leave this country in search of better opportunities, and it occurred to me to use the education route to Canada. Then I applied to a school just this year, February, and behold—I got an offer, I believe, in April. That was the first and only school and the only one with the program of choice. I thought that was it until the time came to process the study permit when I realized the most challenging part, but I had to cross it.

Besides the mandatory IRCC forms, in the attached image are the supporting documents I uploaded as part of my application. I notarized the letter of support from my mom. I added her passport data page to the first page of my proof of funds document—no picture of me with her whatsoever, nor any of me with my family members.

Although I gathered more than those, I removed those that I felt least necessary before final submission. Just as many folks have said here that their application wasn't perfect, I share the same sentiment, as mine also was riddled with a couple of mistakes that could’ve only taken God to make it end the way it ended.

If you think you can add one plus one to get two and infer what could be going on with your application—think again! IRCC has its way of coming up with surprises that could shock you. I said this because a fellow got his medical request around the same period as mine, and we did our medicals the same day, so I felt we’d most likely get our decision around the same time. Meanwhile, I did get my request for medicals and as well passed mine before him. He did not only get his decision before me—it took almost a month before I got mine.

My second observation is that sending emails to IRCC about a decision when your processing time hasn't elapsed doesn't change anything. That's my opinion, though. I believe if you get a decision as a result of sending mails, it's just because it's time for them to treat your case, not that your communications compelled them to do so.

I also observe that you're most likely to get a good decision if you get a medical request as the stats have proven, times and again, that most of the folks who got a request for medicals from the IRCC got their approvals. They’ve most likely done their due diligence about your eligibility before they send the request. Disclaimer: That's not to say it's 100% until you get a decision. Waiting to get a medical request can also elongate your decision timeline, which is why many folks choose to go for upfront medicals.

Also, a compelling statement of purpose or SOP goes a long way. Most of the things that people provide evidence for here that I did well to address in my SOP, I believed served me well.

Lastly, someone that got approval recently on this platform made mention of scripture that resonated well with me and thought that helped me during testing times, so I want to share the same now. If you are still in the waiting game and believe God for good news, go and read Hebrew 11, it's all about Great Examples of Faith. You’ll be glad you did, and your testimony is just around the corner in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Praise master Jesus for me, and I prophesy that may all hopefuls receive their good news soon in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Hello all, so I sent my family's passports and required documents to VFS Abuja earlier in the week through DHL. VFS returned the package with an attached letter that we needed to pay transmission fee for one of my children who wasn't required to have biometrics because he was below the age so he neither had the biometrics slip nor bvl (note he's on study permit). I called VFS and they confirmed we needed to make payment for him and send the passports again with proof.
Please did any of us experience something like this?

Hello Debbie,

Sorry to hear the news but did you submit a fake document.

If yes, first of, you shouldnt. You have to wait out the ban before you can reapply..

Your letter says you are inadmissible to canada for a period of 5yrs which means if you reapply, your app will not be processed until after the 5yr ban.

You might have to consider other countries.

If i were you, after calling them and they confirmed this, i would pay and have my visa in my hands..

THATS ALL THAT MATTERS TO ME O not the money involved.

Yes oh! I've done just that.
I just thought of sharing the experience as it could benefit someone else.
Thanks a lot!
