Again, no less than 2 Nigerian born players (Okafor and Akanji) in this Switzerland team. And that Okafor guy seems to be a good player, he just started the move that gave Switzerland a goal against Italy. And he’s been literally a thorn on Italian defense so far.

Gosh, who did this to us

O pari

We have Alhassan Yusuf in Royal Antwerp in Belgium and our akinkunmi amoo in Sweden but we are fantasizing about what we don't have. I am not against foreign borns but why not appreciate what we have. The worst thing is that a lot of people here may not support akinkunmi amoo and alhassan Yusuf to be in the nation's cup team but yet fantasize about some foreign born not playing for us.
A bird in hand is worth more than two in the bush. Let us appreciate and use what we have first

Rohr still wouldn't have invited them. Has he finished inviting Simon and Shehu?

I have lost all enthusiasm for the eagles now, anything goes. Don't want my hopes dashed

I will continue to say it, a person with a Nigerian name will win a Ballon d'or in the next 10 years

A person with Nigerian name ?

I don’t think any Nigerian name has the ballon the potential for now ,but you said 10 years so it will be possible

May God keep us all alive

Pinnick and Rohr has made me lose interest in super Eagles and personally I don’t care if we’re to face Algeria, Senegal at the last round of WCQ. In fact, let’s face any team

I am looking at the possible line up vs Liberia According to owngoalnigeria and this man has ejuke, chukwueze and zaidu on the bench. I can’t wait for ANC because if he doesn’t reach the finals or win it, he has to go. One of the worse thing a coach can do, is to not select his best available players. Ejuke has been SE best winger this season
When Moses Simon is available cheesy grin cheesy
Who is Chukwueze, Ejuke that will bench him cheesy cheesy

We go draw that match las las. That man is bereft of ideas. Moses Simon shouldn't be starting games going by his performances but he'll start tomorrow's and the next games. Just like that annoying 'experience' merchant, chukwueze and ejuke don't have any experience and have been misfiring (very lame) hence the experienced 'Simon' will come and fill in cheesy

Moses Simon will come and be crossing from Morocco to France tomorrow.

Anything Nigeria like make dem play, we missed 2006 and we no die so nothing should worry us again. I hope Cape Verde wins tomorrow.

Jamuli Collins is in because we don’t have lots of options in the LB position. As for Musa and Shehu, they are there to “balance” the team. They are the quota candidates, if you know what I mean

O pari

One thing we usually forget is that Musa is a good player and so is Shehu. Our current wingers will never get to Musa's past level cum goal scoring abilities till the day they retire from football. Be it Chukwueze, Ejuke, kalu, Onyekuru and/or Simon. Look at how they move, pass, dribble & shoot, then you will know that Musa had perform far better in his national team career.

Meanwhile,where's Noah Beezee?
That guy was tipped several times to be a mainstay in the Rohr era.. but injuries ruined his career..

You forget easily that Musa is originally a striker and has played as a striker many times in his career..

You must have seen into the future to make such a declaration

My friend, don’t be unfortunate. We haven’t even qualified for the final round neither has the drawn be made so don’t give me that forking bullshit. Let’s stop mentioning any team that Nigeria hasn’t been patched to face. We don’t give a fcvk about your vuvuzelas or midgets except we’re drawn to face them and the next idiot that mentions those teams will get it from me
Hey,

I don't know what your problem is but stop disturbing us here biko. We were talking about Ghana because we were a little confused about the qualification format, so nobody is jittery or bothered. Stop insulting people here please. Just mind your business if you don't like what is being discussed ATM.

The only positivity is Moses Simon justifying his starting from the coach with obviously better players available.

He can't keep churning out bad games and you expect I'd be positive about the team. The coach is as clueless as the player.

Mine is let Cape Verde win tomorrow

No way! The Okafor I am watching right now is head and shoulders ahead of Kalu. His football IQ is top notch and he’s a speed star. Come see the way he’s cutting thru Italian defense like a hot knife through butter.

That guy can definitely break into the current SE team for sure.

A sound coach knows what he wants in games. Coach with good tactical acumen.

He knows what he wants from players? Rohr is just vibes and insha Allah. Or do you know what style of football the eagles play (aside individual brilliance from players).

A player has had over 5 bad games and he starts every game....That speaks volume about the coach.

Correct me if I am wrong, don’t they have Nigerian fathers? They may be born in Switzerland but we have as much claim to them as Switzerland if one of their parents is Nigerian.

Please check your facts before acting melodramatic on here.

Neither Okafor nor Akanji are Nigerian born. They are both Swiss born and bred and represented their birth nations - like most players.

There is nothing the NFF can do about it. They are not from Nigeria. We have no responsibility towards them nor do they have any towards us

Nope we don't. They weren't born nor raised here. They didn't develop in our football infrastructure. They could've made a switch to us but we have no claim to them.
