•The Organization is embarking on community mobilization campaign towards ushering a New Nigeria where citizens are positively engaged to create millions of jobs and actively participate in the governance of their society.

Responsibilities include:
•Mobilizing Community members for political participation and entrepreneurship skills
•Sensitization of Community members of good governance and participation
•Sensitization and capacity building of community members on skills acquisition
•Advocacy and engagement with key community leaders and gate keepers
•Project development, mapping and reporting.

Qualifications
•NCE, ND, HND, B.Sc. preferable in Social Science is welcome, however, graduates of other fields are equally encouraged to apply if they have the skills and capacity to mobilize people at community level
•Applicants should be able to communicate in English, ability to speak in one or more of Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba will be an added advantage.
•Volunteers should not be less than 24 years of age or more than 30 years of age as at the last birth day.

5th November, 2021.

*Call for Volunteers - AB Con 2021*

Location: Abuja
Role: Volunteer
Duration: 5 days, (26,27,28 November, 2nd December) and 4th December(4 days for training and 1 day for event).

Volunteers must attend atleast 2 of the training days in November. All volunteers must attend the training on 2nd December.

AB Con is a yearly board game convention that started in 2016 at the heart of Nigeria. It is recognized as arguably the first Board game convention in West Africa.

The convention aims to;
•Promote boardgaming in this region.

•Promote an active Tabletop gaming community in Nigeria.

•Encourage playing new games from across the world including those made in Nigeria.

•Recognize and award individuals, groups and communities promoting boardgaming.

This year, the event is happening in Abuja on the 4th of December.

They are calling for volunteers who live in Abuja and enjoy teaching games to people.

*Description of Duties*
The Volunteer assumes the responsibility of supporting the implementation of AB Con 2021. That includes:
• Attendance of training sessions as regards AB Con.
• Pre convention set-up.
• Teaching games to convention attendees.
• General support during the convention.

*Requirements*
• Great Communication skills- The ability to convey information to people in the most appropriate manner fitting the audience.
• Availability for 4 training sessions pre AB Con.
• Interest in learning about the tabletop games in industry.
• Availability for AB Con 2021.
• Willingness to learn how to play tabletop games and also teach them.
. Applicant must be resident in Abuja within the project period.
