charlesemeka85:Moses Simon dribbles too or he does something like that Runs like a headless chicken, see a defender, cut to the left with the defender already waiting to pick the ball on the left. Or Runs aimlessly, see a defender, tries to pass to a nearby player but plays it so short and the pass intercepted by the defender. |

andrewbaba44:Ironically he's not.....That's what baffles me tbvh His runs are diagonal at club level but for NT, he runs straight and aimlessly into defenders with the intent of cutting left. |

Seriously, what is about Nigeria that everything about tend to go south. And I mean, everything! I have these streaming apps on my phone that usually streams practically every live football game in HD, including several African qualifiers, but I am yet to see them carry any games involving Nigeria! Today for instance, they are scheduled to carry the following African qualifiers: Malawi vs Cameron - currently streaming Cape Verde Island vs CAR CIV vs Mozambique Plus all the Euro qualifiers. But the only game that seems to be missing is Nigeria vs Liberia. And this has always been the pattern. You’d find practically every other games except the Naija games O pari 3 Likes |

charlesemeka85:Thing is if Ejuke performs badly I'll call him out and oppose his starting or addition to the team. Teams are meant to evolve and change dynamics with better in form players not because of what the have done. The principle of club football should resonate in the NT. No one is indispensable, you perform badly you sit on the bench or get shipped out on loan. 2 Likes 1 Share |

andrewbaba44: The match he played against Algeria was a friendly and faced up against Mahrez then Benrama and still kept both of them quiet, I said earlier that I can’t remember the match but Aina played away and dropped a disasterclass and Ebuehi played at home 3 days later and was one of the best performers of the match, so no feel one kain because I forgot the particulars of the match because if you really follow Nigerian football you will know the matches I'm talking about 1 Like |

my guy Andrew I've watched Aina numerous times in the SE and truth be told there isn't a chasm of difference in their performances. Chidozie the few times I've seen at RB has been very solid and also contributed to our attack remember the cross for musa that led to the goal against cameroon and the assist for Balogun against CAR. Aina for all his attacking forays in the RB role has only positively contributed goal wise once the penalty he won against Benin two years ago. I didn't forget his lovely assist for Ighalo against Burundi just stating how he has fair strictly at RB. Defensively also I find Awaziem more solid. Ola initially struggled but I would admit he has improved in the physical duels. Ola is undisputedly more suited to the RB role than Chidozie but he's yet to really show enough of those attacking attributes his fans on this thread rave on about. For the record I agree wholeheartedly that Awaziem and Ola should play often in their natural positions to build momentum and consistency. andrewbaba44: |

I probably won't describe his performances as disaster classes but I would be lying if I said he impressed me. The few times he really stood out he played at LB though he still struggled defensively. Ola is gifted and can improve in the SE but saying he's our best RB using performances in the national team as a metric is a big fallacy. Subzero047: |

chrisooblog: Ola aina is better than awaziem at RB Awaziem is a CB You didn’t say anything about Ebuehi ,shebi Na Ebuehi before ,it looks like the focus have been shifted to awaziem |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by nelszx: 3:02pm On Nov 13, 2021 |
andrewbaba44:Awaziem has been our best RB in recent times. Not a bad game in that position. He may be a CB, but in all the games he has played at RB he has done exceptionally well and fantastic. |

jihday: The bolded is wild thinking because there's no team that has won a tournament that luck did not come in. Fact is that fortune favors the brave (this saying was the motto of Alexander the great who had an abundance in fact excess faith in his destiny. In the ancient world, among the Greeks the goddess of fortune was Fortuna and it was believed that she favors brave people, people with believe cos when you believe, you work hard, when you work hard, fortune(luck) will favor you). You Gerrit? Bottom line is that both Westehof and Keshi won tournaments. Shikena! Doesn't matter how many times they failed, in the end they won. Rohr has had approximately more time than both of them, nothing to show for it. Not even good play like the goodjoe emphasizes to show that the team is growing. |

I concur on the lie. Ebuehi has always put in a MotM performance each time he’s been given a chance to play. But for some reasons, Rohr barely uses him. Strange O pari Subzero047: |

chrisooblog:I used to hype the class of 94 until I dug into their club careers at the point in question. I was shocked. The magic was the coach who believed in the players. In fact he was instrumental in many of them going to ply their trade abroad. He plucked most of them fresh from our local league. |
