What has not dawned on the south is that no Southern candidate including Tinubu and Osinbajo can defeat a serious northern candidate under a direct primary in APC

Same thing applies to PDP

If APC zones its ticket to south, then only southern candidates will contest na.

Only PDP has something to worry about.

Especially the Governors that wanted to install who they wanted.

Zoning is not a constitutional provision. If South want Zoning they have to beg North for it and what if North refuse?

Yeah zoning doesn't exist in the Constitution, but most parties have informal zoning arrangements because Nigerians have the flawed idea about governance that you can only benefit if your son is in power

Yes, but at the end of the day, the cold realities of the Nigerian political space means no one contests it when it happens.

The north is no longer united politically it's almost impossible to expect them to all unite behind one candidate now because of buhari.
