The International Stout festival was an amazing event. DStv tried by giving it a pop up channel. Out of curiosity I timed the event and wasn’t disappointed. The time I would use in getting frustrated from this ‘Ultimate Search’ was better spent enjoying the festivities. My one problem with DStv is the low sound volume when covering local events. At least it’s better than NTA’s loudness which never goes through sound engineers. When Ja Rule came it was 2002 all over again. The man brought the house down. That doesn’t mean the other entertainers didn’t pull their weight in performances.

Nairalanders complain about Toke. I don’t see how she takes away from the show. At least I can focus on her well made up self instead of the hungry-looking contestants. Remi is also eye candy for females, but all I see is a gym guy. He looks too soft for the role he should portray. I guess jealousy from both male and female underachievers is the reason Toke gets criticized here every weekend.

If you people don’t know yet, let me tell you a secret; Toke and Remi stay in a hotel (or hotels) after every taping. I am not sure about the contestants although it won’t shock me to learn they live only three days in the “bush,” the other days spent in a posh hotel or a general hostel provided by the organizers.

I will happily watch a boring show with Toke looking glam every weekend than one without her presence. I for don quit tey tey if not for her cute getups.

Tokes presence during the task clearly adds nothing to the show.
She should have stuck to her role as an anchor for the taking drum segment.

Irin clan - Their barricade was very tight but they came in with one piggy bank and luckily for them... It had money in it. I was quite disappointed with the barricade they built for Iroko clan. It was simple... They made it easy for the Iroko clan.

Iroko clan - Did well... Took advantage of the opportunities they had. Richest clan right now.
